Thank you for this timely offering Bud and Eric. As a Drycleaner I’m sure our compressor locations are located in one of the worst areas you could put them, eg (boiler room). I have been battling heat related issues with my compressors for years. With your videos and expert guidance, I hope I can prolong the life of my compressors and save some service and repair time for many of the other machines and drycleaning-related equipment we operate. Great timing on this video! This week we were responding to a few temperature related service calls. I was in a compressor room at the Scotts Miracle Grow plant where they have two 100HP Gardner Denver units. It was 120 degrees ambient in there! Plus being as dusty and dirty as you can imagine. The sheet metal around the machine was 140 degrees & the discharge air temperature was almost 220 - the air dryer was getting a workout! VFDs hate high temp...
Our IR2475 has now twice stayed running in this heat until the 200psi blow-off warned us to shut down. We removed the mag starter and pressure switch covers, wiggled some thangs, turn tha breaker back on and seemed to be fine again on both occasions. Any ideas or info on what could be happening appreciated Gurus♥
Hello Compressor Guru, I follow from Ontario Canada, wondering if you had any tips on a Kellogg 452, also looking for replacement flywheel as mine is cracked around the hub! Thanks again

Look for a used 1 I just looked I do not have any for kellog. sorry
