    If you have an air compressor Compressing to a 100 atmosphere inside inside of another air compressor at 10 atmosphere will it be a 1000 atmosphere in that air compressor? 10000 at 100 atmosphere?

    one question i have, does the air compressor works on the same principle of a bicycle air pump, where there inlet and outlet valves, as in when when u push the inlet valve opens and when u pull the the outlet calve closes...thx

      Absolutely... and this compressed air is stored in a tank called air reservoir (air storage tank). Just that there are many different design variations for compressors, working principle is same.

      Yes, air filter is a must for any type of compressor. Air filter doesn't allow dust and moisture to enter into the system which increases life of system.

      Compressor is used to compress air, whereas reservoir/storage tank is used to store compressed air they are two different things, usually compressors come with in-built storage tank. For Industrial purpose it is better to have saparate storage tank.

      Looks like you are doing some science project or DIY project. I don't know what your requirements are for this project. I suggest you to choose a compressor with good storage tank capacity that meets your requirements. You need to know how much air is required to run your air motor and you need to run the air motor for certain duration of time to produce current.
      Consider reading all specifications of compressor before you buy. If you have a mentor or guide for your project or someone who knows about your project ask them.
