Another milestone for Kolkata Metro. This will be game changer in connecting Howrah to KOLKATA main city. Hope people of Howrah will handle this new infrastructure properly and maintain it. Kolkata metro is Kolkata and WB pride. In my experience and ease of use I would rank it after Delhi metro.

Kolkata metro is runned by indian railways from 1979 and this project was already initiated before modi. It would have been completed in 2017 but a accident broked out construction stopped for 5 years
