Motor build Ported cylinder heads Ceramic coating cylinder head and pistons Revolution performance 1300cc kit Andrew cams 61mm Black widow throttlebody BlackWidowDynos.com
I also run a Revolution Performance big bore kit and Andrews 420 camshafts (along with some other modifications and a custom Lloyd’z tune) on my 2021 Scout Bobber ABS. There are two advantages of starting the build with a Scout (69 cubic inch) rather than a Scout 60 (60 cubic inch). You have a 6 speed transmission on the Scout vs 5 speed transmission on the Scout 60 and the Scout already has a 60mm throttle body vs the 54mm throttle body on the Scout 60. I also highly recommend upgrading the clutch after installing the big bore kit. The stock clutch will eventually fail under the increased horsepower and torque. I am running a Rekluse TorqueDrive clutch for Scout.
I live in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. I was involved in the planning of this build but I am not a trained mechanic. The actual mechanical work was done by Pitt Cycles (Indian Motorcycle of Pittsburgh) by technician Mike M. Mike did a great job building the engine, upgrading the brakes, adding various bits and parts and doing data logging rides and tuning the bike with Lloyd’z of Charlotte.
Just when I thought I had my build planned out. Now I need to just buy a sixty. Even though I really want 6 gears the price differential just isn't there. I basically want a mini dark chieftain.
Damn.... i think i just found what i want done to my 2017 scout sixty but not sure I can afford it , cuz all i got done so far is a trask intake and gp shorty tips but what yall just did is just damn...
Hey it's great chatting with you on the phone, it's hard to find experience and attention to detail, which you possess. Keep the videos coming, cheers!
BlackWidow Power Sports….do you guys do all the work in a package? The bore? Throttle? Tuning? Etc? Or the client has to provide all the parts and you do the work?

It's got a 61mm TB from a modified automotive Bosch and Barnett clutch kit.
Thank you for the suggestions, I now have a project to look forward 👍

Lord have mercy. I might have to take a trip to San Antonio
Damn that shit sounds good!
Good stuff guys.
By the time its said and done, this is a 7k+ upgrade with ALL the needed parts, labor, and tuning.
Yes that is true
It's alright because that's a low 10s bike. Which is kinda cool

After my warranty is up from my purchase, I know where I'm bringing my rouge
The entire reason i bought the 60 rogue.
Just to confirm the title, this Scout in the video is the Scout Sixty?
Yes, this is originally a scout 60
So is the ecu flashed here?
Yes with power vision
What would this cost minus the TB i have a bobber twenty with the 69cid
I’m looking to do cams. I see you did Andrews
Do I need to get the high lift spring kit ?
Andrews 450 cams
The cams I used did not need springs
@@blackwidowpowersports6037 I’m assuming you used 420 cams and NOT the 450 cams
@@BND407yes 420s don't need new springs
@blackwidowpowersports6037 So the bike had 420s or 450s then?
@@danielvasquez4105 420s
Is there a what to tune out the roll on throttle chop out? Seems like it is almost stumbling.
That’s only cause he was in 5th gear going 15mph to start, driving normally it won’t bounce/stumble like that unless you were almost stalling the bike
Did you lose reliability with the big bore kit
It got thirsty
Is there a difference in valve size between the scout 60 and regular scout heads?
No bigger valves would be nice
@@blackwidowpowersports6037 Did you guys use the 420 or the 450 cam?
how much is this whole work?
