Once continental gp5000, it’s really hard to adapt to other brands🤭

The goat for me are the GP5000 in 28mm the only difficulty is that they are a bit
hard to get on the rim

Oh yes, as much as I love them, I always dread the moment I have to get them on or off the rim 🙈

I think the 4 for usability is a little generous... Maybe a 2. Or still too kind?

I own the GP5000 tubeless ready that came stock on my canyon Aeroad CFR, but run them with TPU tubes. They are a pain in the fingers to remove and put back on. I’m going to try the Pirelli’s next hoping they are easier to install. I will say they are very grippy tires for cornering.

GP5000 + Vittoria Latex Tubes, best combination in terms of puncture protection and rolling resistance I‘ve tried

Agree with all that. For winter riding or bike packing where you are carrying a load, I would go for Conti Grand Prix 4 Seasons or Pirelli P Zero 4S.

Had GP 3k in the ancient past, then 4k series, switched to half-the price "just" GP at around 2016 (have 2nd pair in use). These feel slower (specially if brand new). Get faster (or feel faster) when worn a bit. All 23 mm, tubes. The only drawback of GP-s is that the side wall cracks show up fast and the singular fibers peal off. Though withstand 8, usually used at ~7 bar. Great? Sure!
Lately bought Michelin Power Cup 25 mm ones for a 2nd pair of rims. In use with RideNow TPU tubes. Must say - pretty good.

Try Panaracer Agilest. I switched to them after Conti discontinued the Attack/Force combo. Extremely well made, light, smooth running/no bumps, wear well (rear squares off much more slowly than the Force did), zero punctures so far. I'm running the 23/25 normal ones, they also make lighter "Light" and slightly heavier "Duro" versions which I haven't tried yet.

I had bad very experiences with Vittoria Corsa, too tight, too stiff so it was quite hard to install them. The whole tyre is porous so it needs to be very well covered with sealant. Now riding Maxxis High Road and they seem to be pretty good so far.

GP 5000 STR in 28mm and 32mm. Just works. Some complain they puncture too easily, but they also seal very well so not a concern for me. Will be using with TPU this fall and maybe that will change my outlook.

I'm sure the continental gp5000 is great. But when I look for a tyre I first look at the tread pattern. I go for something kinda slick but also still usable in wet conditions. And it just looks like a pure slick apart from a bit of tread on the side walls. I just couldn't trust it as permanent use tyre (in England) For braking hard on the wet/dirty roads. So the (5) must only be in dry conditions. - I'm probably going to get the VIttoria Rubino Pro. 30c front, 32c rear. I'm not sure if it matters if I get a ridgid/clincher or a folding tyre. I'm fairly new to road bikes. And also trying to convert to tubeless tyres.

I had a choice between 28mm tubeless vittoria corsa/corsa control and gp5000 32mm (wanted to try something wider, like 30mm but it wasn't in stock so f it) non tubeless (and already have some ridenow tpu tyres ordered). Pretty much the same price point, gp5000 s tr was too much for me honestly since I am more of a MTB rider anyways and ride road just for training and couldn't in my sane mind convince myself to pay 65e per tyre when I ordered the whole set of non tubeless for 80 lol. I hope that i will like the gp5000s XD
