Watching from Western Australia. Loved this vlog - as I do all of your vlogs 💕💕Great area of Tuscany - Under The Tuscan Sun territory! Thank you so much for sharing. Beautiful scenery, food, wines - but especially the beautiful truffle dog! Happy belated birthday Vernon - it looks like it was very special.
Hello, I took a few days to intervene because it is not easy as a Tuscan who lives in Tuscany to respond to so many compliments to the territory where you were born and live. Quoting my fellow citizen Curzio Malaparte, I thank God for being born in Prato, and being able to enjoy so much beauty, and so many works of art. In Italy it is estimated that there is 70% of the world's artistic heritage, of which 40% in Tuscany. You have enjoyed the Crete Senesi and the Val di Chiana, but we have an incredible variety of territories, all different and incredible in how beautiful they are, the archipelago and Elba compete, at least on equal terms, with Sardinia and Corsica. Versilia, 50 km of beaches with 2000 meter high mountains behind it that competes with Marbella, the Costa Smeralda and the Côte d'Azur for the title of the most VIP place in the Mediterranean. The Val d'Orcia, the cities but above all the villages.... As for the views... I propose 3, the first from the Volterraio fort on Elba, then from the Radicofani tower, and finally from the top of Mount Spigolino. From the latter, 40% of the whole of Italy is visible
