I tried in the buzz ride before. It's very good and I love that ride so do everyone.
But now, the transformation of the ride "ant-man" looks so cheap, it's just some board and not a single animatronic. It comes to some TV screen instead. Its Unreal and I'm extremely disappointed on that ride. Only hope Disney can change it. :(

In my mind in some Multiverse, maybe before Endgame and Infinity War, after Scott got released from house arrest, he and Hope contributed to the Avengers for a bit and they worked with Tony on this

If they what a ant Man&wasp shooting dark ride why not take a plot ideas from the ant Man&wasp movie where Hank Pym and iron man what to explore the mircoverse has a possible prison for thanoas like threaths and they get a test crew with Scott but they find living creatures that attack you and you have to protect your on your exploration
You should remember that Mission: BREAKOUT and the Iron Man Experience aren't canon to MCU as well. Also the upcoming Avengers Campus will apparently recon the SNAP.
The art design is actually really nice, but it feels super stagnant and like it came out of one of those awful Dubai theme parks. Probably one of the worst things I’ve ever seen come from a Disney park.

@@peters9889 No one said anything about the ride system. It's not the issue. The issue is how almost none of the set pieces move, and there are zero animatronics. The ride system is fine.

Really cheap re-skin Of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters In Hong Kong. No animatronics and just video screens. Disney is losing their touch. We need the old imagineers back!
What do you mean? the physical sets are way better then the cardboard cutouts
(EDIT) Upon rewatching there is more color in the later sets than the first sets. The nanobots all have legs or tools on them, they should move, wiggle, or activate their tool when hit.
While I like the idea of this attraction being a re-skin of BLAB, but with a Marvel skin, you are right about attraction quality. I think it looks great except the set pieces are very monochromatic with little color change. The Antman and Wasp movies have a lot of color, even when they shrink. I don't mind the video screens unless they are only using them. Video screens should augment the practical, not be the main in an open target shooter ride. You are right, they need some animatrontic physical reaction to hitting the targets and story telling. The targets just blink when hit and reset. Nothing happens. Other than trying to get high score against a friend I see minimal re-ridability to this ride. As it is I only go on BLAB because of the sets, not to actually shoot targets for points.
More color, some practical effects to hitting targets, some physical story telling would make this top tier. All of this can be added over time here and there as they recover cost from the gate.

@@baddealdude807 I can see how it would be a nice change. Sort of like a new map on a team shooter video game like Overwatch. I would not be surprised if this got re-skinned again at the other parks only with a different Marvel movie. I see going to Disneyland California and after going on BLAB in the main park one could then go to DCA and do a Marvel skinned one there.

Just saw this after the new Spider-Man attraction at Disneyland. Both are incredibly lazy, and marvel deserves so much more from the Disney parks.
Yes! When I watched the new Disney version of the Spider-man ride I immediately thought of this abomination. I had the displeasure of riding this one a few years ago and thought it was Disney's worst ride they made in the last ten years. But the new Spider-man ride looks even worse with the constant flailing you have to do with your arms. Both rides are devoid of any creativity or fun.

Sure the Buzz Lightyear one is fun, but this one has one advantage, you can actually AIM where you are shooting

I get it its a reskin but jesus. The fact you can pick up the blasters and aim at targets that doesn’t move or do anything makes it worse. Plus I didn’t get the story at all, like when you turned “small” I didn’t get that at all until ant said “GrEaT nOw tHaT yOu’Re SmAlL.” Plus the set pieces look boring and terrible. Again you don’t feel like you are small. It looks a generic marvel set with no imagination at all. I don’t maybe I don’t get because I watched like one marvel movie which was doctor strange. But I’m thankful for universal’s contract with marvel so that Disney world doesn’t get these awful rides.
Even though I love Antman this ride looks rather boring and lacking the Disney Magic that it should have, honestly should have left it as the Buzz Lightyear ride....

I was so excited to see a new Disney ride on this channel ... but as soon as I saw the shooters, I lowered my expectations. This is bad. One of the first Hong Kong attractions to not entice me whatsoever.

Disney's Marvel rides seem to be paralleling the Dubai parks in quantity over quality. Let's hope Epcot's GotG rollercoaster changes that.

Man I was expecting WAY more out of a ride like this. Imagine if it were a trackless shooter with full-motion animatronics and such? The only Interesting setpeice in this ride is the part where they go in one of the robots and you can see the fans and stuff. God what a letdown...

どちらもアトラクションのライド(乗り物)の構造は似てますが..
ただ実はこのアトラクション、以前は「バズ・ライトイヤーのアストロブラスター」だったんですよ。
それをリニューアルしたのがこれです。
No interaction, bland landscape full of wires, nothing from the movie except a few symbols, no animatronics, slow.

I had a nightmare about this ride for months where the tech came to life and trapped and killed me. I woke up in a cold sweat unsure if I was dead a few times.

Wow as far as Disney dark rides go this is really bland.nothing is moving, the ride is kinda slow, not a whole lot of movement. Everything is stationary. I've done a lot of dark rides over the years and this looks really dumb.
I've read enough of the comments below to know that I thought of this thing pretty much what everyone else thought of it. The only positive thing I have to say is that I'm glad Disney hasn't totally abandoned using the omnimover.

I feel like a stronger ride would've involved a thrilling sort of re-imagining of ADVENTURE THRU INNER SPACE where you get transported into the quantum realm. This just seems kind of lazy.
My thoughts exactly but I couldn't remember the name of the attraction so I called it the "Mighty Microscope Ride" LOL. Or maybe a FANTASTIC VOYAGE ride where you have to save Rachel Welch from the antibodies...
Typical modern lazy Disney, turn an old ride into an IP themed ride and make it even worse. Where are the imagineers of old? Disney has been slowly losing its magical touch and it sure damn shows.

I hate those shoot-em-up dark rides. A good dark ride - and Disney has made plenty of them - can stand on its own and doesn’t need some lame shooting game inserted into it.

Great video but this ride dull. It is a re-skinned Buzz Lightyear Blaster but the story doesn’t work: Ant-Man nor the Wasp use a gun, they never fought Hydra in the MCU movies (yes there were Hydra goons in the first one but hardly the villains of the movie) so fight Dr. Zola doesn’t make much sense and the addition of Iron-Man is also pointless. So disappointing for all the hype.
I hope that Disney doesn’t phone it in for the future US Marvel attractions.
And isn't Zola dead? He launched a missile at himself, just to try to take down Steve and Nat. But, then again, the rides don't care about MCU continuity. Mantis is the getaway driver for Mission Breakout, but she's not a member of the Guardians until the end of Volume 2. Prior to that, Ego destroys the walkman, and yet Rocket uses it in the ride. So I'm convinced that these rides are not canon.

2. This ride absolutely sucks. Not a single target moves, and it has one of the laziest stories in Disney attraction history. It replaced Buzz Lightyear in Hong Kong, Buzz was never an incredible ride. Buzz was a whole lot better than this, Buzz had moving targets and a easy-to-follow storyline. If this came to any other park, me along with many other fans would be pissed.
