Some viewers have noticed an error on our part in this video: Andre said that zones are defined in inches. This is incorrect and we apologize for that, they are defined in centimeters. We had added an annotation to the video to correct this, but on mobile the captions are turned off by default so they do not show up. We hope this helps clear things up!
Hello, @3:00 I am running an HLK-LD2410B straight (just supplying 5v). I pick up the info/data via an ESP32 Bluetooth proxy connected to HA. When I open my device, I see same entities you have listed, but I don't have a "configuration" section like you do. Most of the entities were hidden by default, but I was able to enable them. I can't seem to find a way to "enable" the configuration. I assume the configuration section is something setup by the apollo integration vs the genericl hlk integration?
Great question and thanks for reaching out! We use the LD2410B ESPHome library for the configuration section. You can find the yaml at this link: esphome.io/components/sensor/ld2410.html We hope this helps! Best, Justin Apollo Automation
Happy to hear it cleared things up for you! BeardedTinker did an amazing job with Apollo MSR-1 Review! Thanks for stopping by! Cheers, Justin Apollo Automation
It is supposed to be cm, not inches, apologies. I had an annotation that was supposed to pop up to correct this but for some reason it stopped showing up. Sorry about that!
Are you trying to setup an automation similar to the one in this video? If so, you can use the "Call Service" function and "light turn on" to choose the color. Best, Justin Bunton Apollo Automation

Strong work, Andre! Excited to see the next video on how to use the radar engineering mode!
Thanks!

Zones have to be in mm, not inches. The sensor doesn't read to 240 inches (20 feet) does it?

I don't see in the drop down how to change the led color?
