Not the snow !! Didn’t bring the skis ! Considered a live stream from Weymouth and pretend it’s Palmanova and see if anyone notices but I think they would 😜

Hi Alex and daughter, hope you have a fab time at your moms. Weather next week is looking good. We’ve just got back from mega fiesta in Bilbao. We flew with Vueling and the flights were right on time, it’s a pretty good airline and we are flying with them again to Granada in October. We do fly with easyJet but sometimes the times are not good. Anyway enjoy your stay. Thanks Alex.

Flew from PMI on Wednesday. Mega busy Jet2 desks, but staff were on hand, and we got through there in about 10 mins. Security busy but all lanes open and again through there in about 10 mins. Passport control was a breeze. No queues for UK passport holders at the e gates whereas non UK passport holders were sat in a big queue. Some time for some duty free shopping. 😊 Although the wife wasnt too happy that I hustled her through the first set of shops (bigger duty free and more shops prior) so we could get through passport control. 😂 Shopping or miss flight?!!! 😂 Had to take a bus from gate A04 to a remote stand but we got to Glasgow more or less on time. Overall, a good experience of a busy PMI.
I had to drag my daughter out from there too !

I would recommend to always book an open return train ticket if you don’t drive, so do you don’t have this additional stress of missing your train. as you can take most later trains to get home. . Also, LNER have announced strikes every weekend until November, so choose an alternative company if your fly or arrive at weekends, as it’s going to be chaotic enough as it is.

I’ve been following a German channel, fairly similar to yours, who exposed the practice of overbooking by Ryanair, and the sometimes technical difficulty of online checkin which then means an additional 55 euros to fork out for a boarding pass at the check in desk if any are even still available. I don’t know if that predominantly happens on the German side only .

Bought a bottle of Túnel from the same shelf Monday 😂 a lovely drink. Jet2 had some great deals on spirits , 2 for £29 or 3 for £40

We flew back to Luton on Wednesday (21st ) and it was a breeze via easyJet. Palma was quite empty and Luton was much worse on entry..
Thank god it was just two adults coming back so we could do e-gates but if it was a family.. that would have taken ages! Our luggage was well and truly on the belt before we got there!

Any time I fly on the plane normally Ryanair I always make up sandwiches to take with me even though it is only two hours flight to Majorca and I also do the same when I am coming back save me money and also I know what I am eating when I have made it myself

Hi Alex we flew back to UK same day as yourself but later in the day. Picked up 15.40 hoppa at airport and through security by 16.10 exactly 2 hrs before flight departure. No queuing at easyjet for bag drop. Only queue was to board. Maybe later in the day quieter. We were delayed about 15 mins as flight got in late.

Easyjet queues were a nightmare Sunday August 25th! I like Palma airport though.
They tend to be at the weekend I hear - glad you got through ok !

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear, and sorry for the delay in answering... did you travel Friday to Monday by any chance?
I think they do this as standard practice, on our last 3 flights from Palma they have moved us out the terminal only to sit on the plane for 1 -2 hours with the excuse of air traffic control. Presume there is a limit to how many passengers can be in the terminal at any given time.
Maybe or then again be ready to go when a slot becomes available.
