for future reference, a lot of counties actually offer fabric/clothing recycling through the normal recycling programs so you don't have to throw dingy stuff in the trash! they will accept stuff that's stained and holey and often even shoes you would normally throw away (and other fabric stuff like sheets and towels- I would try to donate that stuff to an animal shelter first but if they don't accept it then fabric recycling plants will). definitely recommend to anyone looking to get rid of clothing/shoes/fabric that is not in good enough condition to be sold or donated :)

@@Sasha-im9tk Sometimes! Some locations I think have discontinued it so you have to check in with your H&M.
I love that! I wish it was more available to people, where I live I don't even have anywhere to donate and it's frustrating because I hate throwing things away and I can't resell everything
Honestly if I haVe a hoodie or something that i haVe destroyed it jst becomes my dogs. Like ik that’s weird. Bt if they gotta choose between a bed and something that has your scent 90% of the time they’re gonna choose the thing that has your scent.
Mine are bad enough that they Prefer my dirty ass clothes over a nice warm bed. Why? Bc they don’t care.
the fact that we've gotten to the point in society that someone's job is to be a closet organizer because we've just hit the point of overconsumption where we have stuff just to have it or collect it. Then we forget we have it in our closet so we buy more. Don't get me wrong i love seeing the before and after/process. but there is a whole niche and market in this is crazy.
It’s sad that people need to pay for this regardless I feel like you-tubers have all this money and spend it on things as dumb as this while half there fans are probably out there struggling to make rent I used to like them but as I’m older I see how ridiculous it is

Ya, while I think if you really love fashion, or have whatever sort of thing you really love to collect, I think it’s not bad to overbuy said things to an extent, however I think there is a point where it’s nonetheless too much
@@thetiredworm2100 People who truly love fashion collect pieces that they will treasure forever and seek out things they know they love - not things they saw on Pinterest because it was a trend, buy it, never wear it, then get rid of it
I think about this a lot, it shows how wasteful many of us are. I am guilty of this, though, because it is so easy to get caught up in trends.

This would have been a great opportunity to look up companies that take old clothes and shoes and they recycle them into playgrounds or insulation for homes, etc. instead of just throwing everything away and it ends up in the landfill

I’m always going through my drawers and through my closet every season and putting clothes that I’ve grown out of up for yard sales next year and keep seasonal clothes and outfits in the closet according the season we’re in..
