@ For me it were jars of the Shadow Lands. I hate these things. Literally the worst thing imaginable. Miyazaki outdid himself by packing every messed up thing into one creature. Like, they alone switched half of the community from “Marika is evil and genocides have no excuse” to “Kill ‘em with fire!”
I think it's a running joke for itself, he kept the ones that usually can't help but laugh. Like himself with "Buttcrack Osama" on MGR:Revengeance video.
Having put hundreds of hours into Dark Souls and Bloodborne, you learn that the games are honestly just a less forgiving hack and slash boss; You learn how they attack, and when it's safe for you to counter them. A lot of the cinematic stuff is usually just flair to look imposing.
1, lady knight, voiced by cottontailVA, is "needle knight leda". she's friendly, trust her implicitly, nothing wacky happens, i promise. 2, shadow of the erdtree contains some of the hardest bosses in fromsoft's souls-like games. none of them are easy, but by the time you reach something like the dancing lion, you have to have beaten mohg, one of the harder optional bosses in the base game. you'd be acclimated to the wild swings and magic the bosses do and prepared for something like "the air turning electric". 3, in the case of fissure depths, there's a literal magic wall that stops you from entering. you have to reach the shadow keep before it disappears and you can enter. max0r hacked into the game to remove it, so he's REALLY not supposed to be there.
50:14 I know reators need to pause and give input so it's transformative so I'm not saying "stop pausing." Just saying don't bother with the 0.01 second text popups. I feel like most of them don't have anything to do with what he's saying and are just goofy meme text.
Yeah, fair enough. I have also gotten the opposite note before, so I was trying to split the difference. But for the next video I'll definitely try and stop less for them. It was exhausting to try and stop for every single one.
Divine Beast Dancing Lion is based on chinese new year festivals, it's especially clear when you listen to the battle theme also, little fun fact: the boss doesn't transition between phases based on damage, but in time with the music
See I think most of us souls players say some of the bosses are easy due to over a decade of playing soulsborne games. It's not to condescend or be rude, I just think that if you've done something for an extended amount of time, you lose touch with how you felt the first time you did something.

And I haven't finished the video yet lol (I'm about 20 minutes in because I keep pausing to read the text or do something else)
The bosses covered in the video in case of you want to do a deep dive. putrence knight, Divine beast dancing lion, BAYLE the dread, Rellana Twin moon knight, Messmer the Impaler. (These are the major bosses)
I have no idea why I did this, but I completely knew Belurat was the first dungeon from it's placement and the lore character in front of it, but I talked to the boys, killed the Furnace Golem, and then proceed to fight Rellana first. I didn't kill the Divine Dancing Lion Beast until after Bayle and Messmer.
20:05 ah, don't worry. I have the platinum trophy in every from software game since demon's souls, and just looking at the fights in elden ring, they seem absolutely impossible to me as well 😢

I can assure you, the creatures that grossed you out are much, MUCH worse than it seems.
oh good.
The last thing I needed were the Winter Lanterns from 'Bloodborne' coming back that's what EXACTLY happened in the DLC, I avoided the entire area.

@@reanokeorfall you can just parry them
You know the video is fire when the voice actors Max0r hired can't read the line without laughing XD

They're called Spider-Scorpions. According to the lore, those are native to the Realm of Shadow.

1:43 that may be a Dracula Flow reference. Worth watching, doubt it's monetizable.
Watching Maxor videos is like staring at a Winter Lantern (IYKYK)

To be fair, a Scorpion IS an archenid.
Bayle was one of my favorite fights across all of their games
