A while ago I quit cubing for reasons and not long ago i saw some of your videos in my recommended and started watching your videos (again too), which just made me go back to cubing again
when you're making the first side on a skewb, and you have the case where it's the last corner you need to put in, but it's facing up, you can do either a sledge hammer or a hedge slammer depending on what side it's on
There's something so satisfying about watching Dylan do a random hand scramble. So smooth lol. Also, my "main" is my Gan 11m Duo but I'm 🤏 close from ordering the Tornado V3.
Please tell me If it's better than Gan 11m duo.
@@greencarrot5311 I ended up ordering it and love it. It's a different feel than the Gan but with some SCS lunar lube, it's fast and controllable. Great corner cutting and smooth turning. It's my new favorite for sure.

The weird thing is, for the Halloween Cube, the white center piece (or sticker) is actually purple, which means that matching it with the white side is, well, kinda hard.
Just concerning your week-long headache, i suggest to get that checked at a doctor. I had the same for a bit longer and ended up hospitalized. It was a bit too close for comfort. Especially if the headache just never stopped. You might need to get images of your head made (CT or MRT) to identify the actual reason.
J Perm, your vids are awesome! I'd love to see a random ao100 done by you (not necessarily commented). I noticed I learn a lot more from random solves instead of WR solves. Also it helps to see people who are sub10/sub9 but not sub7, but I couldn't find that much of that kind on TH-cam. People tend to upload their best ao5 instead of random solves. I would watch your ao100 multiple times!

19:25 Just for the lols, here's how to do this case (which btw is called a U perm):
Orientation: Put the center piece that needs to go to the opposite side in front, put a different unsolved piece on top
Alg: (R' L R L') y2 (R' L R L')
Notation: R = front-top-right, L = front-top-left (this is not the actual scrambling notation but it's how I learned it)
also i wrote alg wrong idk why im saying this cuz if you see this it's fixed lol

Learn Sarah's beginner! Your skewb algs are interesting, but I got sub-5 with a method that only has one alg. The sledgehammer should drastically improve your skewb solves, I think that you would enjoy using the method!

Can confirm, this is not like the mastermorphix where you thought it was easy but there's actually some crazy move you can also do. Nope, the square-0 is literally just a 2x2x3 but easier because there's no F2s.
when jperm held the square 0 correctly when solving the yellow side I swear I got happpy for a sec
the square-0 is basically a 1x2x3, but the middle layer is more restrictive

Its intresting that some cubes corner cut amazing but in solves they catch alot but the tornado v3 dosent corner cut that great but it catches way less often

Video idea: Try cubing as if your non-dominant hand is your dominant hand as some sort of challenge. I tried it with my left hand (my right hand is dominant) and it was a little bit more challenging then I initially thought.
