I bought the Tornado V3M and it's my new main, I absolutely love the feeling of the cube, I lubed the core with a lil bit of weight 5 to slow it down for me, and some dnm-37 for a smooth feeling :O
I lubed it with angstrom gravitas and dignitas? as well as dnm-37. Turns like butter. It's actually the perfect cube. Feels good to turn, gets good results and isn't too light (like the gan) or too heavy (like the rs3m 2021) also is quiet.
I lubed mine with some lunar and it's pretty good (or lubicle speedy and/or DNM)

That comparision was just... Perfect. Its so unique, and so funny, and entrertaining, the editing... thats why youre my favorite cubing channel. (Yes, jperm is my second favorite cubing channel, yet hes too good too)

It's also worth noting that the Tornado V3 has had a LOT of quality control issues. I've personally had people tell me how the screw in the center can get stripped and mess up everything. Also, the fact that it uses a screw to begin with is something that I'm not a huge fan of, especially since it shouldn't even be moved.
meh even if it gets less it still costs half the price of the gan so you can just get a new one
honestly, one of the reason why i picked gan over tornado, other than the gan case. Reliability is really important for me.

@@juandiaz5959 absolutely. It's become my new main cube. I went with the Flagship version and think it's great. Good corner cutting, smooth turning, and can get moving pretty quick. Plus it's really quiet which is a plus. As much as I love the 11 M Duo, the V3 just feels right.

I bought the Tornado V3 Flagship, and it is so insane! I’ve been using it for a week and still haven’t gotten a single lockup or catch. I have even gotten a few sub-7s and even sub-6s!

in my opinion, the gan cube's performance and quality in all fields is unmatched by anything,
but to be honest, it is not that so far away from other cubes (for instance the tornado v3) to have such a ridiculous price
many cubes have near performance but with like 10 times cheaper price
i main a gan anyway

Got both and I cannot decide. I prefer the feel of the Gan and get better singles on the gan. However I average better on the Tornado V3

I think the manufacturing process can make the same model feel different in how a new cube feels until you do a thousand solves on them. After they all finally break in, then it's the about the same. But with the same internals, different coatings effect the turn feel too. My frosted gan13mag always feels lighter and sounds clickier than my UVs, probably due to less mass of the frostiness. But my Gan12magUV feels more like my 13frosty probably because of the corner piece core cut outs. I've always wanted to quantify my findings somehow through some experiments. I'm an older cuber who hasn't competed yet but wants to geek out on the mechanics (and cleaning/lube) with someone who understands. I guess I better get off my buss and go to a comp.

Can we appreciate how much science and work these companies put into making the best cube in hopes of a faster solve. To most people a Rubik’s cube is an impossible challenge that only geniuses can solve. It’s two different worlds and I’m so glad we have companies that respect and love cubing
