Brilliant show. Had the pleasure of growing and playing with both of you. The things sir scholes did even at school level was actually ridiculous.. made me look good.. butty just smashed everything that moved ..Paul O’Keefe
No stupid forced, exaggerated laughter (Micah Richards), no desperate swearing to appear one of the boys (Alan Shearer), and no face-that-needs-slapping points scoring smugness (Lineker). Just fantastic lads.
you're so right, shearer on the BBC is an actual gimp and so PC, on their podcast he's such a try hard with squeezing in swear words at every opportunity and lineker is so self-righteous is unbelievable. And I don't get why so many people like micah richards. Yes, he has a fresh approach to punditry but his actual analysis is dogshit and he basically relies on humor/laughing
I’m going way back but here goes. Started going to all United home games as a 11 year old. United were in div 2. We then got promoted, finished 3rd and qualified for Europe. We drew Ajax in the UEFA cup. The atmosphere was amazing. Hats off to the lads great shows

This was class. Liverpool fan and big respect for both. As a football fan this is what I love - hearing two guys who know the game and have been there talking about their experiences and opinions.
Brilliant episode, light years ahead of The Overlap and all the others. No Huel adverts, no fairy cakes, no debating over fashion or music - this is proper fitba chat by two of the most genuine and gifted players we had at Man U. Naturally funny & and insightful whilst also paying huge respect to the clubs & players they came up against. This is football.
It's mad but that's the way it was. You could be just below the knee and if you got anything at all on the ball it'd be fine. It's good really that that's out of the game.
Absolutely love this pod/show whatever you want to call it. Two pure legends. The ending "id like to hear the managers thoughts", get it done! Imagine sir Alex in-between these two and the stories that would enfold 🤣
Priceless and absolute class! A pair of down to earth legends providing fascinating insights into a world that only a small minority will ever experience. Their generation was probably the last of the real footballers. I hope his never ends. 👌
What?????? You having a laugh😂😂 you will be saying Richards the best football pundit and the rest is football Is the best pod cast next!! Love these 2 but it isn't in the same league, especially the fan debate
I’m pretty sure that some of the stellar European players from that era are sat around somewhere saying: do you remember them two hard Gingers from United! Top class both of you, this podcast is refreshing, thank you.
Thanks for the good times guys, for trying hard and always doing your best. Thanks to all the team ye played with at United for bringing great success, joy and happiness. Well done

Refreshing, no bullshit approach unllike certain other shows and punditry panels! No stroking eachothers ego's and over the top laughter!! (Liverpool fan)
I'll tell you how good that 99 team were. I was living in Spain at the time. And the following year the final was between Real Madrid and Valencia. Just prior to that game Marca had a centre spread where they asked all La Liga's managers certain questions. One was 'Who is the best team in Europe'? There were in total 18 managers. 2 of them said that they did not have enough knowledge as to to who were the best. 2 others said 'Well, the team that wins the cup is the best'. That left 14 managers. Eight voted for Manchester United - far and away the biggest. Indeed one of the 4 who did not pick a team was Javier Irureta, manager of Deportivo la Coruna, and I know he was a big, big fan of that team.
@@dondamon4669 I do yeah he's 83. But he's done and still does tons of interviews. He did a podcast literally the other week with Ally Mcoist talking about his favourite moments from his career. It's not that big a stretch to wonder if he could come on here as well
