I remember those days when Clan Battles was a hyped team tournament, I still remember two of my best personal sweeps. Too bad things had to come to an end cuz of a certain individual whose lies got exposed.

We still have the good memories and that’s what we should focus on

Bro its really is the end of an era 😢 I never played vanguard until vgz and honestly had a blast playing and reliving the anime. Im happy to have stumbled across your server and tournaments. Played against a lot of good players and had fun watching the streams. Also shout outs to VoC and everyone who made the team possible, considering we were in all diffrent timezones we managed to get team tourneys done. The scene really was florishing and the tournaments were getting bigger, sadly not all things last long but im happy for thr journey. Also big shouts to you Wolf, the Den and Clan Battles were some of the greatest /fun tourneys in vgz period. Also shout out to Nut who stopped us from winning twice, ill never forget that LMAO

It was always fun casting VoC matches and you guys came close to winning a lot. Y’all also revolutionized with that Dreamy Fortress card lol

Also Bushis greed with new sets for G era really killed this game, i had to whale hard cause i could not grind and didnt have much free time. I could not justify spending on this game anymore as new sets really power crept all sets prior. I was basically throwing money into the void. It was frustrating and the only person we can blame for vgz death is Bushi. Hopefully they can make another vanguard app and start from zero ( pun intended).

They should have just released Cardfight Online

I agree. I’d come back for the open qualifiers but no time to grind and I felt filthy paying those prices

I knew Vg Zero was going to end just purely off game design alone. Being only able to guard with 2 cards out of your whole deck is such an idiotic idea.
Van"guard" but you can't even do the core mechanic of the game. And there weren't enough sets to justify the longevity of this game.
Anyone who spent heaps of money on Vanguard Zero, not seeing this happened inevitably, similar to how they cancelled Luck&Logic & their best card game Buddyfight, honestly should have seen this coming. Bushiroad is such a poorly designed company 😮‍💨😮‍💨

I think they can do a lot right with Weiss and CFV tcg being prime examples. They maybe spread themselves thin with too many properties and should focus on like a core 3. I think there was a pivot to be made wether into/add overdress format and cards, create vg zero original cards, or a mixture of the two. Overall people spend money on what they want and if they had a fun experience then hopefully it was worth it. TCG players should know anyway, No refunds lol

@@Wolfman30301 No amount of money is worth a cancelled game & a pure cash grab. If they don't cater to their fans who still suck it up, that doesn't do anyone any good.
Now everyone is stuck without a mobile game to play & Vanguard not sold in their countries anymore. No amount of money makes up for that. Same with buddyfight same with Luck&Logic.
I can't feasibly try to justify players spending $10k if their favorite games are just going to amount to nothing in a few years. That's disrespectful to them, their time investment & their money.
No amount of good memories can sugarcoat that fact. It's not just Tcg players.

@@Wolfman30301 I dont wanna act like vanguard Zero is a great game based purely off the memories people built, because trust me, if they release the og Vanguard the way it was MEANT to be played it would have brought bck Way more fans.
Same with overdress, the sudden power scaling is very intimidating for new & returning players, in addition to the secondary market. Bushiroad just keeps continuously shooting theirselves in the foot.
