TRANE THERMOSTAT XL824 - HOW TO UN-REGISTER / RESET

How to reset / un-register / de-register your Trane XL824 Thermostat. Are you not seeing the screen to enter your 6-digit registration code? That's because you have to un-register / reset your Trane Thermostat before you can register it.
This method works with both Trane SmartHome (older version) and newer Nexia version.

We have these thermostats at our church. I have registered them to my own Trane account but there are others in the church that need access. Can they control the same thermostat from their phone in a separate account?

What or how can i do it to program it or reset it?? I bought it and cooling option wont show. I only have heater option showing. Can i get some help or advice please.
