Memes aside, I think it’s super cool how Diana and Leona just looked at each other with no hate since they used to be really close before they became aspects. Seeing the relationship between a lunari and a solari and then seeing each other sort of seemed like they just want peace. Idk I just think that was an awesome detail.
Now knowing how close they were to each other it hits differently
The most important detail is that they both lowered their weapons while looking at each other longingly. That scene told so much without actually having to spell it out.

I think it's slightly implied that they died. That girl suffered an arrow wound but after the guy takes the first step, she starts walking as if nothing happened. Also maybe Diana's gasp wasn't that he managed to walk on the path, but rather that he fell but his soul ascended?

ya.. what probably happened was that they died but they were immortalized in the stars, and the constellations represent aspects/ascended, so maybe there will be a new ascended character???? one that is about love or something idk.
