I’m having a lot of trouble finding my roms on emudeck rocs3, i’ve got, sonic unleashed, infamous 1&2, spider-man 3, and x-men wolverine origins uncaged. Emulation stations is only detecting spider-man3 and nothing else. I can find these games on rpcs3 standalone but not trough emulation station - please help!
EmuDeck is an all in one solution for installing emulators. Emulation Station is a frontend, meaning it’ll display your emulators and roms (games) in a console like way with box art etc (requires setup I have a video up on that). Making it a better user experience.
@@Techcravershello! Wonderful video, my only question is will I be able to use my external SSD to host all game dumps permanently and not only to transfer to my Ally? Im limited on space and have a 2TB SSD id like to run all my games off of but am unsure if there's an extra step to this.
Yo techcravers could you plz make a video on how to unmod and factory reset a Nintendo 3ds I bought my 3ds from facebook marketplace and and all of the software on it is way outdated and I want to try to moderate myself so I know it doesn’t have any bugs or glitches
Yeah Emudeck is a hard pass for me. It was great for Linux, but on windows, I’d rather configure all my stuff right and use a front end way better than es-de
@@fx4500-c7c for front end’s? I think playnite is the best all-round Windows gaming front end. It can take a bit of time to master due to how customizable it is, but once you do it is the best IMO. However, Emudeck is an emulation configurator which I think is pretty cool, and helpful for Linux (since most are not familiar with Linux)…on windows, I don’t find managing multiple emulators too be as difficult (partially because I’m used to it). Emudeck could use Pegasus, ES-DE or Steam as the front end for games, and I found ES-DE to be the best option out of the 3 despite it not being as good as PlayNite IMO.
@@fx4500-c7c My comment got deleted or something. But my favorite front end on Windows is PlayNite. It takes some time to master, but once you do it can look very good (it is highly customizable).
@@Techcravers I think it can be pretty good overall. However, it doesn’t have multi-disc support (drives me nuts, you have to manually create ps1 m3u’s, other systems have to be put in folders), only 2 scraper options and the better of the two has a daily limit, you have to edit script to add unsupported emulators. That said it’s not bad tho. It served its purpose for me on Steam Deck, it is not bad for Android (I prefer Beacon and Daijisho on Android), and PlayNite is better on Windows.
Bro glitched when he said cheat sheet LOL 😂great video!
@@helbertasprilla Impossible to pronounce! 😅 Thank you!
Thanks bro i did it to my ally x

Where can i get the games for the emulátor ?
Nice video thanks. Ive stayed away from the ally and steamdeck bc im not too familiar with their OS.
When you play game how to exit the game and return to the emulationstation??
Depends on your settings. Try pressing select and start buttons simultaneously.
@where is the hot key settings for emulationStation?
This might be a dumb question but what the difference between Emudeck and emulation station???

Can i do this on my regular Ally?
Yes definitely!

@@1NECM Well you could but you would need to have it connected at all times. You could install everything on an external sd card otherwise.

Keeps getting stuck on “collecting drive names” can’t seem to find a working solution anywhere…
So emudeck has no games on it? It just allows you to play the games on the system?
Only the emulators. You need to provide your own game dumps.
@@Techcravers is there a way to do this without an external drive? Could I download them straight to the handheld
@@x1fusion1x35 I have all my own game dumps on the external drive that’s why I do it that way.
@@Techcravers do games take a shit now?
Great video! Any idea why my install just gets stuck at the “we are completing your installation” screen with sonic just running?
Could be that it opens a window/prompt in the background that you need to approve or decline.
@@Techcravers I think it was my SD card, when I installed it on the SSD it worked fine… thank you tho!

Wonder how many floppy disks would be required for my retro game library 🤣
I only wished these handhelds emulated the upcoming Switch 2 games
