Wolof of Senegal, Gambia and Jieeng and Nuer of South Sudan and Ethiopia have common ancestor. The ruled Kush Kingdom with Nuba until huge migration. Wol aJang moved to West Africa ~now Wolof and Nuer and Jieeng who were one tribe divided themselves into two tribes and moved to East, along the Nile.
In all honesty, after living in the West for many years, I could never adapt to the Gambia! The way of life is to different! Eating food off newspapers, the mud, trash, too much poverty ! But, I enjoy seeing how others live! I am very particular about my surroundings! But not putting you guys down at all! This is just my truth! ❤🎉
Just like when I visited Kensington. Philadelphia, I was amazed by the amount of poverty i saw there, the drug infested streets, the trash, the homelessness, and people doing drugs in broad daylight 😢 drug needles all over the streets. The crimes, I taught I was in a third world country. That's when I started to believe poverty is everywhere, including the west.
@@mariamanneh4561you got that right! Not denying poverty is not everywhere, no need to be defensive about wht I'm saying! But I'm not going to choose to live in a poverty striken area if I don't have too, my choice! To each his own!
@BeetaTumbre God knows what I said got nothing to do with your post, and I got no need to be defensive cause am not from there. Am just saying the amount of poverty I saw in Philadelphia. It is one of the most developed country in the West and i was amazed by what i saw. That's all am saying nothing to be defensive about. We all got choicest and are also entitled to our opinions. I really understand where you are coming from. Thanks.
@@mariamanneh4561 No one "visits" kensington philadelphia. You probably watched a youtube video. I've been to philly a million times and never even been to that street. My sister lives right outside of philadelphia and I told her about some video I saw on youtube about kensington and she was like "what are you talking about". She had literally never heard of it. Just like people put out propaganda videos about africa they do the same thing about America. Stop acting like philadelphia is just like the gambia. It is ok to say the US is a world of difference from Gambia. You must be in your feelings because someone said Gambia is poor. It is a poor country. Nothing to be defensive or ashamed about.
Ricki, really enjoyed the video. Wow your mother hair has really grown. She looks amazing. And you would look fabulous in some nude colored lipsticks. As a matter of fact, your lips look like one of the nude colors. You can just outline your lips with a brown liners not to heavy and wear lip gloss and your makeup and look awesome. ❤️🖐🔥
So many great moments in this video. You speaking Wolof, momma’s hair growth, how muddy and just shopping overall. Thank you!
