In this video, I am showcasing the beauty of Provence during its peak blooming season. I captured everything from the lavender fields in Valensole abuzz with bees, to the charming French towns and almond fields. During my visit, I also explored the Monday market in Forcalquier, which runs until noon and offers a variety of textiles, jewellery, and clothing.
During our trip, we had the opportunity to visit the growers of verbena and lavender for L'occitane and tour their factory.

You always show us around as though we were actually wherever you are and I could feel as though I was because of your great descriptions and chatter of each place. The ‘protective mum’ in me comes out at the thought of you having to wander around strange places and empty airports on your own. Glad to hear you are safe and sound back home.👏💐❤️🙏🏻

Am currently on holiday in Provence and did the tour at L’Occitane on Tuesday. Their ethnics and care for the safety of their products is excellent. The work that goes into them and the work they provide for the women in Burkina Faso is fantastic. Love watching your videos, I have your book and love to hear that beautiful Irish lilt, reminds me of my mum who was from Ireland 🇮🇪

You deserve this trip. What sets you apart from other channels is that you do your research on the products and the place, you make your videos about that and not yourself. For that reason "brands" should be queuing up to have you advertise their products. Enjoy the trip and I and thousands others are looking forward to your next videos.

Bees are very therapeutic. Their buzzing has been known to heal people with ptsd. Very calming. Nature is amazing.

Hello Catherine. I’ve recently discovered your video and I love it! ❤ I’m actually watching on my TV at the moment but I stopped so I could message you. That fruit on the tree that you asked about, I’m pretty sure is feijoas (pronounced fee joa). They were very common in New Zealand where I grew up. I live in Australia now and nobody seemed to know about them. In the past few years I’ve seen them in fruit markets and I think they’re a bit more known here now. They’re an unusual taste, not overly sweet but pleasant. Inside is a bit like the texture of kiwifruit but not as soft and juicy.
Lemon Verbena in the fields, you have Verbena Bonariensis at home.

You were so kind and thoughtful to give up your seat to people with families and jobs that didn’t work remotely to be treated so horribly by the airlines when they had the problem. They should have rewarded their customers who sacrificed their time for them.

You can even make a book of it if you get enough storries traveling adventures..... You look great even with not much sleep😁 now you know that the promises this airline gave you is a lie so before getting off the plan get your voucher. The verbena you showed is what we in the US call lemon verbena, Aloysia citrodora, is a species of flowering plant in the verbena family Verbenaceae, native to South America. Other common names include lemon beebrush.

What a great trip: cats 🐱, little shops and lavender fields 💜 reminds me at my time when I went to school in the Provence as an exchange student. I always wanted a garden in the Provence but now I have one in Berlin with a lot of lavender 😉 And meanwhile it's here as hot as it used to be in the Provence those days. Wow, this started out as a lovely get away vacation that morphed into a gigantic headache. I can hardly wait until the next video to make sure your home safe and sound.😳🥰
The white flower in the almond grove is bindweed. It looks fab but is a very invasive weed. Like ivy it can strangle a host plant. Your provence basket costs over twice the price in ireland and uk. Ive planted a lavender hedge in ever gsrden i have lived.
