I know there are probably people joking about Superstars never getting DLC considering how it’s almost been a year since the game came out, but considering they gave MK8 Deluxe DLC a whopping FIVE WHOLE YEARS since the game came out, I think it’s fair to still hold on to hope that we may be getting DLC for Superstars.
I know I’d like to see at least one more board. (Preferably one from Mario Party 3) I mean look at the current board selection: 2 boards from Mario Party, 2 from Mario Party 2 and only one from Mario Party 3.

My lack of friends to play with is another but my main way of thinking is, “well, the only numbered installment I’m missing is 6. Since I can play everything Superstars has and more, I don’t feel pressured to get the game.” It does look fun, I’ll give it that, but my particular set of circumstances make me feel less pressured to get it. It’s on my Switch wishlist so I don’t forget, but the way it stands for me now, that day is pretty far off

What's old can still be new again. I like how they recall the history of the boards in this game, giving Mario Party the one thing no one expected: continunity. I'm gonna love that this is gonna one of the filler series for the forseeable future.
i've been here from the start back in 2011. i was 10 years old. i'm now in my junior year of college and i'm still here, watching these guys play Mario Party. gotta love it.

By the way, hi Josh, nice to see you here, too! 4:55 In the original I definitely agree with Jon while in Superstars I agree with Josh, here Yoshi's Tropical Island is actually fun! 5:28 Would appreciate even more customization, but even as it is it's nice that there's an option for random bonus stars and the classic ones, both have their merits so honestly I like both. 7:11 Not exactly what happened since the objective was reuniting these Yoshis, but even if they're not completely accurate I love these references to the originals! 10:49 It's baffling that Nintendo's online still sucks, but I'm happy that out of all their games Superstars got the best online experience. 12:08 It is a battle minigame and yep, it tells you in the up right corner from which Mario Party the minigame comes from, it's a pretty nice touch. 14:37 Some people really dislike Lucky Spaces so it would be nice to have an option to toggle them off, but personally I like them. 15:54 Being able to speed up the cutscene and having an item shop on the left island making it actually worth staying on improve this board so much that I genuinely like it unlike the original. 16:49 On the other hand some things never change, Spotlight Swim keeps on being really hard for the solo player just like in the original.

Mayhaps Jon will do an encore of that bit? For real though, that moment was one of the funniest parts of that LP in my personal opinion just for how loud Jon got by the end of that bit. Kinda surprised he didn't peak his mic during it honestly. Nice to see TRG doing Mario Party content again. Those LPs were great.
After all these years. We finally have the return of Four the Yellow Toad. In all seriousness, I loved having Josh in as player 4. Brings a certain energy that mingles well.

That’s Reese’s anthem right there. 14:22 So in case you’ve been living under a rock, the (Dash) Mushroom and the Double Dice (or the Twice Candy in MP8) are now two separate items. The (Dash) Mushroom is a guaranteed +5 modifier to your standard 1-10 roll, meaning you are guaranteed to move 6-15 spaces. Double Dice work as Mushrooms once did, including the matching bonus. 15:42 Karma for Jepson. Also the Bowser path isn’t necessarily terrible. It is technically shorter and you don’t have to go by Piranha plants. You might even get a Cursed Dice Block out of the deal. Bowser has not only amazing aim but amazing control to put enough spin on Toadette’s platform to cause it to arc around the southern half of the island like that and land right where he was previously.
So many memories since the very first Mario Party LP and I’m very glad this is happening, least we’ll have to wait for a Mario Party DS LP a little bit longer

I literally saw the thumbnail for this video when I was in the middle of watching a video of one of my favorite from Disney Parks: a Halloween water show at Tokyo Disney Sea. Bowser has not only amazing aim but amazing control to put enough spin on Toadette’s platform to cause it to arc around the southern half of the island like that and land right where he was previously.

I literally saw the thumbnail for this video when I was in the middle of watching a video of one of my favorite from Disney Parks: a Halloween water show at Tokyo Disney Sea.
