Dragon's Dogma 2: The Dad Review

Today, we're doing something a little different.
We're kicking off the first of a new series of reviews that I'm dubbing: "Dad Reviews".
We’ll dive into games, offering the usual subjective opinions, but also look at a few key elements that determine whether a game is “Dad-gamer friendly”.
Things like having the ability to pause or save your gameplay at anytime, cost to time investment, pick up and playability, and more.
And what better title to dive into first then the recently released, somewhat controversial, Dragon's Dogma II?
Yes, we all hate microtransactions in single player games, but the fact of the matter is, Capcom has been doing it for years. Are we really surprised that they did it again here?
I personally feel that the performance issues are the games biggest problem, however, as I was making this video, a patch was released that seems to alleviate some of those frame rate woes.
Will Dragon's Dogma 2 win game of the year?
Probably not. I don't think it'll be for everyone, and that's OK.
Some though, like myself, might just fall in love with it's pairing of a huge open world and engaging combat system.
