Came here from a reddit post, this video is really entertaining. Bug fables is probably my favorite game of all time, so seeing it with a challenge like this is really exciting
I can't believe you were able to beat Venus' guardian without taking damage. I'm playing it on the 'hardest' mode and he was wrecking me over and over. We actually both beat him at the same time. This challenge is crazy and I can't believe you're doing it
This is really amazing stuff! Super glad TH-cam recommended your channel to me. One question though: doesn't fighting Scarlet technically violate your 'no grinding' rule? Since he is technically optional. Not that it takes away from the achievement here of course :)
Well for scarlet, i figured the 20 extra exp he gives were necessary to beat the game just because you have access to the broken medals. Last boss would probably be impossible witout them.

I didn't know that enemies weak to ice have 100% chance of freeze. Is there any other ailments that have higher chances of being inflicted on other enemies? Also do ailments have a lower chance of inflicting on regular enemies?
Every enemy has a precent they are immune to every status. Seedlings are 0 to everything ( so everything always works) spuder is 40 to poisen 60 to freeze 50 to sleep and 75 to numb and a midge Is 20 to poisen 40 to numb and sleep and 25 to freeze. There is no direct connection but most plants Wil be at least kind of weak to freeze. Certain things do raise the odds. Status booster lowers enemies resist to all statuses by 10 and friged coffin acts as if enemies have 30 lower (if a enemy has 100 or negatieve resist it Will Will not be effectief at all even with change boosters. Somthing to jeep in mind is that every status becomes less effective each time you use it depending on the source. Sorry for the long reply and this is info from the bug fables wiki
Hard to hear with two equally volumed voices talking but..Hope that gets fixed. Near the end though it seemed like it was when the stream lowered volume as you started to explain. Still, good to see and hope its edited so I can hear what you were saying from the scarlet fight and about...something with...the bee bop?
awesome vid bro. just a tip, next time add some music in the background while you talk, even just the in game battle themes. it makes the video 100% more watchable
i feel like the Hard Mode and EXP Booster medals have the potential to make an impact in this for bonus EXP, some fights feel like you have total control and can do without the damage so EXP Booster is a free pass, you might have to grind up a lot of berries for spicy bombs though. And required fights against basic mobs can probably be beaten with hard mode on, with how few fights you actually get in it might help to get that extra 15%, the abombinations gave 15 EXP each so its not exactly worthless EXP if you can maintain control in the fight.
Does the no optional fights rule apply to fights that are necessary to complete sidequests that would get you useful medals? If not why didn't you grab the Super Block medal available in chapter 2 before the big fights?
@@LyghtBF Gotcha. If I'd been doing the rules myself I'd probably have altered them to allow for almost all badges to be acquired. Ie. No field battles and no refights.
I’m a little confused, why not make the Crisbee Donuts before going factory? They’re objectively better. I think you can still make them without the quest active
Lyght it the one you get in the place with Hawk in lost sands it just up from where the bandits hideout is. You need to do a freeze puzzle to push a rock then clim the rock. It called Tardigarde shield

I would think quest’s don’t count, as it’s hard to exactly grind quests for max level

I've never noticed that Venus will move in tandem with Venus's Guardian, it's a nice touch!

Yeah if a side quests had a fight in it i couldnt complete it(except scarlett)

I avoided all quests that had a battle in them (beside scarlet) to get as little exp as possible

Will you count the scripted damage during the first Wasp King encounter and the Beast fight, or will you skip those with glitches?

Can you specify the name of the medal ? If it's behind a quest with fights I couldn't do it because unnecessary exp.
