I really like the way Ari teaches. Her lessons are always chock full of great info and workouts and never boring or repetitive. I hope NoTreble keeps posting these videos. :)
Dang, love this. Starts out basic enough for someone not too experienced to have something to work on, yet gets tough enough that I have some technical issues to work on after 12+years of playing. That final example tripped up my right hand quite a bit, gonna have to work on that one pretty slow and work on economy of motion
Hi I only just discovered you!!!! love all the topics that you've covered (only watched 3 so far). Will have to carve out some time to practise! I'm interested to find out why you sometimes use a 4 string and sometimes a 5 string? I switched to a 5 string about 6 months into learning bass so I'm more comfortable with a 5 string. I can play a 4 string, I have to really concentrate and don't get to really enjoy the music haha
Mylene, I use whatever the music calls for, four, five or six. In the educational videos I like to switch it up so it's a little bit for everybody. Great you enjoy, thanks for watching!
Can grove be taught? Personally I feel it's something you either have or don't. If you have it you can become a musician. If you don't then just stick to listening music. Just my thoughts

This is a pretty good tutorial. I appreciate how she teaches
Nice lesson Ari. You're an extremely musical player and great teacher too. :-)
Very good techniques Ari!
I’m a beginner and using short scale with small hands and it’s still a bit tuff but your videos are helpful. I hope to get good at playing
great exercise, thanks for sharing
Great lesson, Thx.
Nice ideas!
Is it possible to get the backtrack? Thanks.

Wow cool! I'm not familiar with 4 string and 6 totally confuses me haha. Thanks for doing these great videos!
nice
🥰
the grooves sounded great. Somehow they have a singing, a melody character. Normally is not that easy to get a melody character with only chord notes.
Partially due to her tone, which is absolutely wonderful!
You are an ecxcelent theatcher!
Sory, but I do not speack englesh. Very good!
Thank you very much!
Are u from spain or some spanish decent?

Webby582 i think it can be developed, I’m a drummer by trade and have met plenty of people who had no groove in the beginning but got it later
