This worked perfectly for me. Thanks! On my 2000 Jeep Cherokee, I had the hyperflash problem even though I replaced only the red brake lamps, not the yellow or white lamps. I ordered this particular relay from Amazon: "XtremeAmazing 5 Pin EP27 FL27 Electronic Flasher Relay." It cost only $9.99. Some other reviewers said that their replacement relays had only two prongs; this one had all 5 prongs just like the original. On my 2000 Jeep, the existing relay was the original Chrysler/Mopar piece. It didn't have tape or foam around it like in this video. It came right out, without much trouble, and the new one went right in.
thx for the vid... much appreciated.. btw, 2:06 that's not a "heat sheild"... it's there to help protect your knees/legs in the event of a hard collision. Most any vehicle that's been manufactured in the past 30 years or so have them
I’m assuming you mean the turn signal relay. I’d assume that it would be in the same spot for that year, it might just be tucked in there where it’s hard to see

If all four turn signals light up outside, as well as the four way flashers, but they don't flash, is that a relay problem?
