A bunch of big stars were invited to play and/or sing the music of Chuck Berry including Clapton, Etta James, Linda Ronstadt, etc. The whole concert and preparation leading up to it were codified in Taylor Hackford's documentary film, Hail! Hail! Rock n' Roll. I highly recommend it; it's very insightful and interesting - not to mention entertaining!
Etta was Keith’s inclusion, much to everybody else’s distance, yet chuck owned her on stage. Keith has such a great understanding of rock and roll, many don’t give him the credit for. Another outstanding performance
