He bridged the gap between older Black Blues and new rock and roll. He was also a great lyric writer and also had great stage showmanship as well. Put that all together and he is a TRUE Rock Legend, and will always be Forever.
Why not create a beautiful word for the band members of the King of rock n roll. After all without their participation the King cannot rock n roll alone. I love this music of my generation.

Amazingly, he's not only still alive but he's still performing at 86. He plays once or twice a month in St Louis, plus this year did a South American tour, and shows in Moscow and Paris. He has lost a step, but he still puts on an entertaining show. For 86, he's still damn good.

My first one day festival. He headlined the Rock and Roll revival festival ay Wembley stadium in London. 1972, I was 16 and I went on my moped. What a life I had.
I know many are critical of this gig but for me I feel that it is one of Berry's best performances; it's loose and has a real jam feel which is the way blues should be in my humble opinion. Fantastic rock n roll. The band are rocking and Berry has total command of the stage. Brilliant stuff. You just don't get rhythm and blues like this anymore. Real toe-tapping stuff.
