The reason rashad was out of the league is because of his character. Gil, you'll probably never read this. You were a hero of mine back when I was a kid. I'm a diehard Heat fan but grew up in the DMV. I got to go to a few Wizard games back at the MCI Center when you were playing. One of my fondest sports memories is watching you guys win when I was at the game. I wore an orange Wizards jersey that was #0 Arenas. You were celebrating, they put me on the jumbotron, and you looked up and found me in the crowd and waved. That made my month. So don't say people were fine with you leaving, a lot of us had good memories of you and were sad when you were gone.

Gil being this vulnerable and showing what its really like to create and manufacture self doubt and live with it. It's dope to see how far he has come mentally and being able to look back on it and be real about what was happening and how it affected him is wonderful to see. Hope he knows discussing topics like this can really help people. 🤞🏻

“I did a hundred things right and i make a mistake on one thing…and this is how you treat me”
Honesty fellas, ladies or whatever you are watching this…it’s true in life. You can spend years building up your reputation or who you are, all it takes is just a few seconds or a mistake for the world to forget all you have done.
It’s like having a glass cup you have been using for a while, it finally chipped and now you don’t view it the same.
If you made a mistake, pick yourself up and keep on walking. We’re all humans and it’s bound to happen just please keep on going🙏🏽
