GT350R is better and will be worth more than the GT500 later on down the line, because it's Naturally Aspirated so you can throw in twin-turbos that would make an already mean engine even meaner and make 1,000 HP at the wheels easily while still costing less than a 2020 GT500 with all options. GT350R already comes with a carbon fiber package, not as an option like on the GT500, it has a flat plane crank engine that revs to 8250 rpm, GT500 has a cross plane engine and maxes red-line at 7500 rpm, GT350R only comes in manual shifting, 2020 GT500 only comes in paddle shifting automatic.

Wow you haven't driven a Ford lately have you! That's is a Traction Control light. It shows the driver that the traction control has been forced into the off position.
The 2020 Mustang Shelby 500 is maybe one of the last muscle cars to be created going on petrol and having a big engine with great sound, before everything is electric. @@patr80 well remember that when the mustang was introduced it wasn't presented as muscle car it eventually evolved into that, but that's the beauty of it, it can pull off being a sports/ricer/muscle car and do it the best. I know it's the best because all the other car companies try and copy it's formula.
I'm sure this car is just as capable on a track as it is on a drag strip. A car can do both. Look at the McLaren 720S - it's capable of beating its competitors on a track, and then doing 9 second quarter miles on a drag strip. Besides. I bet the majority of these GT500's will be used for street racing.
As a ford stock owner, and owner of gt350, explorer, Bronco and many Fords past, I must say I am horrified and largely disappointed in the decision to eliminate the manual. I am grateful I got mine before that happened. No amount of horsepower or technology will replace the feeling on "oneness" you get with your car as you rack those gears yourself.

@@briandsnow Think of it as an F1 or Indy transmission. Those race drivers have been shifting by clicking paddles for years. At the click of a paddle, the gears change in a microsecond.

This has been my biggest complaint... It just looks too plain compared to the rest of the car. they would have been better off going with a wing similar to the ones featured on the ZL1 1LE or the ZR1 ZTK!

Johnnyc drums well. On cold start up my oil pressure is around 108. I’m guessing this uses 10Qs of oil also.

That isn't the check engine light, its the traction control light to show that he has traction control turned off.

J McGuire the GT350R spoiler would have looked better on this, at least it had a natural flow with the car’s design
