Mc Midas Well you can't really compare Sephiroth injury to the amount of injury Zack got. Sephiroth only got one big stab but Zakc spent hours being hit by barrage of bullets, sword slashes, and stabs. A small moment of being stabbed by a big sword for Sephiroth just needs probably a good hour to recover without inturruption. However, a barage of injures without time to recover probably will reach the limit of how far someone with a jenova cell/mako energy enhanced body can handle.

it makes me so unbelievable sad to see how cloud changed his character. he isnso deeply in love with tifa and even touched so gently her cheek(1:33). but in FFVII he is so cold and we cant really figure out his emotions. it only becomes more obvious that he is in love with tifa when both of them are in the lifestream in mideel where they rebuild clouds true memories. anyways, well done!
He was so cold, because everyone he ever knew basically was dead. His town was destroyed. The girl he wanted to be with most he kept letting down. He keeps his distance to not get close to anyone for fear of loss, abandonment, and failure. Sephiroth used all of those insecurities to help create the idealized self for Cloud so that he could be used as a puppet. Cloud definitely had some serious cluster B personality disorders going on. He started to have feelings for Aerith partly because of Zack, but also because he tried too hard to be accepted when he was a kid that having a woman actively wanting you around was a foreign concept. The same thing with Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie trying to befriend him. He never had that before, except for Zack and well, Zack dies and leaves Cloud all alone in the world. People like to shit on FFVII, but every character has a wonderful arc and so many of them are intertwined.

To be fair, the directors have said that these differences are due to the fact that everyone in these scenes remember things a little bit differently. Zack remembers things differently from Cloud, who remembers them differently from Tifa and so on. This is from Zach's perspective, while FF7 is from Cloud's.
There's only a couple minor differences, but this is closest to the original game. The anime version wasn't as good once they got to the final showdown. It acted as if Sephiroth jumped into the lifestream of his own accord.
With Cloud there was him encouraging those infantrymen at the beginning and being very friendly with Sephiroth which I don't think was in CC with Zack. Then he visited his mum and Tifas house. With Zack he had that conversation with Cloud in the inn just before they hit the sack, everything else was the same I think

I was talking to someone about this but Tifa and Aerith are both heroines of FF7 but in different ways. Aerith was destined to save the planet, ultimately she was too important to be with Cloud and gave her life to die to save the planet. She left the group and Cloud to die in the temple of the ancients. She is the heoine of the planet. On the other hand Tifa is the heroine to Cloud. When Cloud has a nervous breakdown she stays with him instead of saving the world. Aerith choose the world above all else, Tifa choose Cloud above all else.
Not really tifa is the one Who calm cloud and pushes him on his path but that doesn't mean she wanted to save ''just '' cloud otherwise we never saw her train to become what she is now and to defend for all the innocent peolpe , she just didn't want anyone to die.... it's sounded from you like she doesn't care about nobody else except for cloud basically she saved the world in different angles.

Yeah. I do think Cloud had a thing for Aerith, but it was more...he needed to heal, and she helped him get back on his feet so that Tifa could eventually get his true self out. SImilarly, I think that Cloud gave Aerith some hope after Zack so that she could have the strength to do...what needed to be done. :(
I hope tifa and cloud get together in the remake so far just seen them hug if you choose tifa in the sewers but would be nice to actually see them get together. Unfortunately I cant remember much from the original game as I was quite young I did watch my brother play it but cant remember much and he also says he cant remember if they do as it's been a long time since he played it himself looking forward to see where the story goes in remake part 2 and 3 but hoping cloud and tifa get together they belong together

The fact that it is basically implied that they had a romantic night under the highwind. Cloud for a time basically became Zack so honestly it was only natural that cloud would be attracted to Aerith and vice versa at that time.

For those who are wondering, he's referring to an interview that had Kitase and Nojima talk about "the night under the highwind" scene and how they had originally planned for Cloud to come out of the chocobo stall in the highwind with Tifa following and looking around nervously. Three months following Zack's death FFVII's original story begins.

Cloud was always physically able to be a soldier candidate even before getting infused with the mako, but because his mind was to traumatized the mako wouldn’t fully merge with him until he could move passed the trauma.

Tifa was carried to Midgar by her martial arts instructor during the incident, before Hojo/Shinra found Cloud and Zack in the reactor. This is revealed by the letter left in between the pages of Tifa's sheet music on her piano in the flashback sequence during the original game and in a scene in the Last Order OVA anime. Tifa never would have known it was rebuilt.
It's all implied. There were plenty of experiments done obviously and really the only limit to what Hojo did to them is your imagination. Obviously at one point both Zack and Cloud were given Sephiroth and Jenova cells. Zack showed little change I guess and Cloud just went to pieces, so Hojo decided they were both failed experiments.
Shinra rebuilt it to cover up the Sephiroth incident. They employed actors to portray the cover up. Anyone who visited the town were told nothing happened by the towns people(actors). Quite basic really

3:45 4 years later , so if i understand well the game took place 6 years before FF7 but in the game one year pass . And when they are in nibelheim it is 5 years before FF7 then hojo make experiences on them during 4 years and the game finish and Cloud see Tifa Again and join Avalanche and it is the beginning of FF7 .

Well for one cloud befor he left told her he was going to join soldier, but he didn’t, he failed and never told her. She didn’t know that so she believed that he had just forgotten about her now that he was a soldier big shot. Then you know Sephiroth BURNED HER VILLLAGE TO THE GROUND. Then killed her dad along with other villagers. So yea needless to say she pretty much fed up with shinra and soldier.
Cloud sure having trouble with Mako, he get Mako poison twice, this time and the time he fell to the lifestream at northen crater, both make him become .. you know, stupid, lost conciousness, and most of all, useless

Jenova is an alien life-form, a world destroying. According to the game's mythology, it travelled the cosmos devouring planets. you missed the third time in Mideel, when he falls into the liefstream together with tifa. But i admit, it's debateable, if he was poisoned there or not, since he get's his mind restored with the help of tifa.
Because in the original FFVII Zack was only as a flashback and was not as developed as a character till much later after the original game out and Crisis Core came out...
@LovenVincent cloud was never a soldier he was a shinra trooper, he didn't deliberately take zacks memory and made it his own, he was infused with jenova cells (catalyst for memory shaping) by hojo and the events with zack merged his actual memory and zacks. For some reason the jenova cells failed to completely take over cloud and hojo considered him a failure. The english translation on the original game is kinda crap that's why it's really confusing. To be fair, the directors have said that these differences are due to the fact that everyone in these scenes remember things a little bit differently. Zack remembers things differently from Cloud, who remembers them differently from Tifa and so on. This is from Zach's perspective, while FF7 is from Cloud's.
There's only a couple minor differences, but this is closest to the original game. The anime version wasn't as good once they got to the final showdown. It acted as if Sephiroth jumped into the lifestream of his own accord.
With Cloud there was him encouraging those infantrymen at the beginning and being very friendly with Sephiroth which I don't think was in CC with Zack. Then he visited his mum and Tifas house. With Zack he had that conversation with Cloud in the inn just before they hit the sack, everything else was the same I think

I was talking to someone about this but Tifa and Aerith are both heroines of FF7 but in different ways. Aerith was destined to save the planet, ultimately she was too important to be with Cloud and gave her life to die to save the planet. She left the group and Cloud to die in the temple of the ancients. She is the heoine of the planet. On the other hand Tifa is the heroine to Cloud. When Cloud has a nervous breakdown she stays with him instead of saving the world. Aerith choose the world above all else, Tifa choose Cloud above all else.
Not really tifa is the one Who calm cloud and pushes him on his path but that doesn't mean she wanted to save ''just '' cloud otherwise we never saw her train to become what she is now and to defend for all the innocent peolpe , she just didn't want anyone to die.... it's sounded from you like she doesn't care about nobody else except for cloud basically she saved the world in different angles.
aerith wanted to be with cloud but if she didn't save the world cloud would be dead too, you realise that, right?
there is no cloud and aerith lol. sure cloud had feelings for her, but aerith is gone and together with zack in the afterlife. i used to like cloud/aerith, but playing crisis core made me a big zack/aerith cloud/tifa fan =)

Yeah. I do think Cloud had a thing for Aerith, but it was more...he needed to heal, and she helped him get back on his feet so that Tifa could eventually get his true self out. SImilarly, I think that Cloud gave Aerith some hope after Zack so that she could have the strength to do...what needed to be done. :(
I hope tifa and cloud get together in the remake so far just seen them hug if you choose tifa in the sewers but would be nice to actually see them get together. Unfortunately I cant remember much from the original game as I was quite young I did watch my brother play it but cant remember much and he also says he cant remember if they do as it's been a long time since he played it himself looking forward to see where the story goes in remake part 2 and 3 but hoping cloud and tifa get together they belong together
@Tyler Davis Even if you only take original ffvii into account. The lengths that Tifa went for cloud. How she saved him from being a drolling broken mess. The fact that it is basically implied that they had a romantic night under the highwind. Cloud for a time basically became Zack so honestly it was only natural that cloud would be attracted to Aerith and vice versa at that time.

Actually thats an option, and I sadly do not recall SE confirming that that is actually a canon choice. For those who are wondering, he's referring to an interview that had Kitase and Nojima talk about "the night under the highwind" scene and how they had originally planned for Cloud to come out of the chocobo stall in the highwind with Tifa following and looking around nervously. C'mon, we're not naive here, its quite clear what they're hinting at, even with the toned down version.

Four years after Cloud confronts Sephiroth in the reactor Zack awakens in the laboratory and escapes with Cloud. Cloud is now 20. Then a year after running from Shinra Zack dies. Cloud is now 21. Three months following Zack's death FFVII's original story begins.

Cloud was always physically able to be a soldier candidate even before getting infused with the mako, but because his mind was to traumatized the mako wouldn’t fully merge with him until he could move passed the trauma.

@MotherPunker970 Yeah, they rebuilt Nibelheim within the four years between when it was burnt down and Cloud and Zack escaping. Tifa was carried to Midgar by her martial arts instructor during the incident, before Hojo/Shinra found Cloud and Zack in the reactor. This is revealed by the letter left in between the pages of Tifa's sheet music on her piano in the flashback sequence during the original game and in a scene in the Last Order OVA anime. Tifa never would have known it was rebuilt.

It's all implied. There were plenty of experiments done obviously and really the only limit to what Hojo did to them is your imagination. Obviously at one point both Zack and Cloud were given Sephiroth and Jenova cells. Zack showed little change I guess and Cloud just went to pieces, so Hojo decided they were both failed experiments.

Shinra rebuilt it to cover up the Sephiroth incident. They employed actors to portray the cover up. Anyone who visited the town were told nothing happened by the towns people(actors). Quite basic really

@yuskaisme Well technically, Cloud was not a failure, since he was affected by the Jenova cells and Mako energy, compared to Zack to who was completely unaffected by the Jenova cells and Mako. Zack was the true failure. However, because Zack escaped with Cloud before either of them were assigned an experiment number by Hojo, Cloud assumed that he was a failed Sephiroth clone during the original FFVII game, but since Cloud did participate in the Reunion, he was not really a failure.

3:45 4 years later , so if i understand well the game took place 6 years before FF7 but in the game one year pass . And when they are in nibelheim it is 5 years before FF7 then hojo make experiences on them during 4 years and the game finish and Cloud see Tifa Again and join Avalanche and it is the beginning of FF7 .

Well for one cloud befor he left told her he was going to join soldier, but he didn’t, he failed and never told her. She didn’t know that so she believed that he had just forgotten about her now that he was a soldier big shot. Then you know Sephiroth BURNED HER VILLLAGE TO THE GROUND. Then killed her dad along with other villagers. So yea needless to say she pretty much fed up with shinra and soldier.

Because in the original FFVII Zack was only as a flashback and was not as developed as a character till much later after the original game out and Crisis Core came out...
@LovenVincent cloud was never a soldier he was a shinra trooper, he didn't deliberately take zacks memory and made it his own, he was infused with jenova cells (catalyst for memory shaping) by hojo and the events with zack merged his actual memory and zacks. For some reason the jenova cells failed to completely take over cloud and hojo considered him a failure. The english translation on the original game is kinda crap that's why it's really confusing. CMIIW
So many things can happen to Cloud and he'll still live... -__-
