Ya make absolutely sense lad... But it depends on what people are already used to... Most pc players are fixed on using the keys for movement, no matter how many times I've told em that it takes up three fingers to do so.
Preach, my man!! I have the pro version, and have been using it for gaming, sculpting, photoshop, Maya, Substance painter, etc. This thing is a game changer when it comes to gaming and increasing your workflow. Hell, I have a stream deck, a Wacom express key remote, and I still choose this thing over the other two because of how comfortable it is to use. If y’all do anything with art, design, or architecture, you need to give this thing a shot.

I have Razer Tartarus Pro, and yes, it is amazing. This is good not only for FPS titles but also for most games. Nice tips Bro and good point of you to warn about the need to train muscle memory.
the simplest, and most cost effective solution to the leaning keybinds is to map RIGHT Lean to "Q" and LEFT Lean to "E". This allows you to move and lean in the same direction without sacrificing movement. thanks for showcasing the tartarus tho
Why not just move with the joystick? That’s how it’s intended and you just use two binds to lean. Then you’re only using one finger to move instead of 3.
I've heard bad avt this thing but other than it being wired it seems more helpful for pc gaming seems like the best option for someone switching from console
Just got one and honestly I'm not liking it, obviously it will take getting use to but I feel some keys are just not well placed especially the space key, might try movement on d pad but for games with lean I will definitely stick to foot pedals.
Same did it get any better ? I've experimented a bit for a few days but it's rough especially since I don't have much play time in a week. I've had issues with jumping in every game
@@shadrachlane5555 no I gave up on using it, it's in a drawer somewhere. I've always used mouse wheel down for jump, I mainly got it because I have small hands and some games have a lot of binds I find hard to reach.
Yea, I've had 3 that all broke within a few months of use and I'm not the only one. I suggest to buy two get the warrenty so when you have to send one in you have the other one to use.
How did they break? They are literally a custom shaped mkb. The joystick gets sticky from time to time add the dual actuation can lag, which no one uses dual actuation anyway. Other than that, mechanically, how can they break?

You can use the joystick for anything. I, personally, don’t like it for movement. Instead, I use the traditional WASD setup on the keyboard portion, and I use the joystick for other things like class ability, air dodge, crouch, and jump. The “space bar” or button under the dpad is my super button. This is for Destiny 2, ofc, but my setup is pretty similar for fps games like COD whereI just swap the class ability, air dodge and super buttons with abilities or perks. Also, if you ever consider buying one of these, DO NOT get the V2! The membrane keys used on the V2 break within months of use. The Pro is a much better, more durable option, that’s lasted me three years without trouble.
This is not the advantage of buying it at all but clicking 2 buttons with the same finger seems so difficult you would definitely mess up more than if you had it on different fingers
Why not use the joystick for moving around like a controller and use the keypad for all the extras like leaning? Makes more sense to me

I've used it for Escape from Tarkov. Really does help when I can set everything to within a fingers reach.

My bad. This is the v2. Mecha-membrane. Obvious junk. I have only used the Tartarus pro. Which is full mech.

That’s probably because you’re using the v2. I’ve had my pro for three years with no problems.
