I used a trackman (thumb ball) back when counter-strike and Diablo 2 were popular, it's all about what you have trained with. A good mouse and keyboard will be somewhat noticeable at first but it wears off quickly; back then you could feel the lag with wireless mice vs wired. If I use a mouse too much then my stylus (graphics tablet) may feel a little strange (artist).
ATM, I rock a $7-10 logitech K120 keyboard and a $7-10 ONN optical mouse; IIRC, both came from walmart. The clickers are dying in my mouse after however many years I have had it and some of my keys (membrane) are polished smooth. A dying mouse is kinda why I'm checkout out mice again. For context, I don't game much anymore, mostly Anomaly and Path of Exile.
Surely you know the button are programmable. That $7.00 mouse may not be adjustable ergonomic style but you can remap the buttons to whatever input you need.

As for keyboard, I have a $25-30 brown switch mechanical keyboard from Cosmic Byte. Works quite well.

@@wrestlebear7104 it doesn't matter if the keyboard is cheap, I had a membrane and it sucked ass, but you have to push hard on the keys, it's not your typical mechanical keyboard when you push it lightly it works.

i play with a royal kludge 61 $60 and a v2 mini razor mouse $40 adds up to $100 and it works great!

i use a ducky one 2 mini, and a glorious model o. So a very similar set up to yours, except the ninja air58, is lighter weight, and a bit smoother than the glorious model o. Also on my ducky, i have TTC bluish whites because i play fortnite, splitgate, and valorant. So it's much easier. Besides that it's pretty much the same.

I would recommend the red dragon Kumara k552 it's probably the best budget keyboard and for like 10 dollars more you can get it with a good gaming mouse in the bundle option

I use a cyber power mouse with a redragon it’s really comfortable
I use a rk61 with yellow switches (lubed) and a model o matte white
fps is pog i reach at a peak 400-600 fps and if i just start my pc up but if i game for like a few hrs it can drop to 200-300
The cheap keyboard is a membrane keyboard, no switches. It’s basically a rubber dome your pressing on. Yes the keyboard is slow, but its also your mouse. It probably has like, a 100hz polling rate, compared to your air58 with a 500hz polling rate, and the mouse also most likely has a laser sensor, which is not ideal for gaming.

U have to press the keys harder coz it’s probably a membrane keyboard rather than a mechanical keyboard, mechanical keyboards are smoother and way easier to use

If your keyboard is cheep then the buttons may fail after constant use and if your mouse is cheep then the buttons may also fail and it won't be able to sense movement as well an it will be to heavy
And btw I use the excact same keyboard as the one you got and you definitely don’t have to press hard on the keys lol
