If you comment on these comments, that would be very meta. I love seeing the evolution since that film to now and in each film. And I love that you have the bravery to show the rough stuff and that you don't have the answers. There's a lot of Influencer types that claim to have answers, and yet, they haven't a clue.
Sometimes it is a blessing to not read replies at all, i stopped all notifications if anybody ever replies to my messages here on youtube, i will never read them...since you many times get hate comments. Most people aren't as Beau, especially when they are online with a fake name it is easy to be hateful in response to feedback or litteraly everything.

It was a topic I have often touched on when people ask me about my running escapades (ultra runners can seem an odd lot to those who don’t run, or don’t run as far). And noting that roughing it was temporary, and I would add chosen, makes a difference on the stressors that are experienced; you know you have an “out”. I totally agree with not wanting to live super comfortably (not that I’ve walked that far to work or anything) but I think it’s great to not always do things the easiest/most conventional way possible, even just biking instead of driving or sleeping in your car rather than getting a hotel
Dont think its disrespectful to you family to eat stuff from the road. It's just not in tune with modern days obsessive antibacteria and cleanliness norms. Truth is its probably better to eat that apple of the side of the road thats been in the sun and maybe rained on than it is to eat an apple from the grocery store that people have touched, sneezed and coughed on if youre worried about bacteria, which we really shouldnt be to the degree that we are.
The sunlight seems to break down the chemicals that make cola brown in color. I collect returnables along the road and often see half filled bottles of cola that are yellow. They don't smell. Don't know how long it takes to change color.
Imagine thinking eating an apple on the side of the road is irresponsible to your wife and children? It's a damn piece of fruit. Humans didn't always eat sanitised food from the grocery store!

I totally agree with not wanting to live super comfortably (not that I’ve walked that far to work or anything) but I think it’s great to not always do things the easiest/most conventional way possible, even just biking instead of driving or sleeping in your car rather than getting a hotel

Dont think its disrespectful to you family to eat stuff from the road. It's just not in tune with modern days obsessive antibacteria and cleanliness norms. Truth is its probably better to eat that apple of the side of the road thats been in the sun and maybe rained on than it is to eat an apple from the grocery store that people have touched, sneezed and coughed on if youre worried about bacteria, which we really shouldnt be to the degree that we are.
I walked roughly 18 miles one day & three people offered me a rides.

I can understand the comments on the Pepsi bottle because it looks yellow. That out of the way you’re an inspiration Beau.
The sunlight seems to break down the chemicals that make cola brown in color. I collect returnables along the road and often see half filled bottles of cola that are yellow. They don't smell. Don't know how long it takes to change color.
Imagine thinking eating an apple on the side of the road is irresponsible to your wife and children? It's a damn piece of fruit. Humans didn't always eat sanitised food from the grocery store!
