- One of our client spilled liquid in her new MacBook Pro 2019 touch bar A1259. Apple repair will cost as much as a new laptop and no keyboard or track pad available in the market for as of Jan 2019. We will try to fix the keyboard and the track pad for the MacBook Pro 2019 touch bar A1259 using ultra sonic cleaner. This is a complete tear down and repair without buying any part.

Are the new M1 Mac books “safer” for water spill?
What solution is used to clean the keyboard in ultrasonic? I used Branson EC and it ate away the aluminum finish on the topcase but it did fix the keyboard though.
I spilled something on my 15” MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and random keys start being held down when I’m not touching… I’m using an external keyboard now but it’s hard to work when your in the zone and keys start going crazy and page starts scrolling down
While my laptop was on, I spilled about 1/4-1/3 of a water bottle on the keyboard area. I immediately wiped it off the keyboard and the keyboard then was working while I was wiping, came back to start using it again and it was not working. Did I shut something down when frantically wiping? Or is it toast? Thanks!
I use a automotive pry tool for battery at harbor freight and it works great!!

I spilt water on my MacBook Pro 2020 about just under a week ago everything works fine part from the Touch Bar which is responsive but it has thease yellow lines on which keep flashing, would this be repairable ? The Touch Bar is responsive but there is just no display.

My touchbar suddenly stopped working out of blue i own macbook pro 2018 model intel chip my touch bar is working when touched but there is nothing visible on it it’s completely blank any reason why this happened
can the touchbar be replaced without replacing the whole case? mine is blinking white. I do field service so I am confident I can take it apart just don't want to till I have all the info on this
Yes, the part does exist. However it is very thin glass , adhered and is difficult to remove. Anything other than physical damage or damaged connection: just make sure it is the issue with the touchbar and not an issue with the logic board. There are components that can be impacted to affect touch response/power on etc
I have still problem with the keyboard and trackpad. I tried with other case but it has the problem. Can you help me too fine the solutios please?
If it is a liquid spill, it may be an issue on the logic board itself
Will my 2020 MacBook Air M1 chip Touch ID be fixed? There is liquid damage but it is little and Apple told me an insane price of $799.

I'd say no. I just had a water spill on an M1 MacBook Air and trackpad is failing :(

So I was laughing at some vid and about 2 drops of spit went on the keyboard right below the f3 key on my MacBook. Should I be worried?
where is the microphones located on this laptop ?
I believe it is along the right speaker area in this model
@@lapfix No, it's on top leftish side under the touchbar ! I found it and removed it myself ! There is no info of location of the microphone for M1 Macbook Pro anywhere online. Sorry i forgot to mention, i was looking for M1 Macbook pro 13 inch microphone location, i thought the location of this laptop mic might be same as M1 but its not
