Clean My Space Thanks for the sale! 💝🙏 Bummer, the bath towels are SOLD OUT!! Will you let us know when you’re restocked?? They are the BEST and save SOOOOOOO much space in our tiny linen closet.
Melissa I loved that included ideas of where to donate certain items, and would love more suggestions. Like the throw pillows, I have way too many of them, some are quite old and I can’t think of anyone who would want them...but knowing a puppy would get good use out of it...ugh I love that!
Hi Melissa. I purchased a set of your microfibers towels several months ago and more recently purchased a set of minis. I love the minis in the kitchen and to do my dishes , but I've noticed that they quickly smell like mildew even though I squeeze them out after every use and leave to dry where there is air circulation. Any thoughts on why this would happen? I've never experienced this before with a thin dishrag.
I gave my luggage to a women's shelter..I found out that when they are ready to start a new life, the shelter gives them a garbage bag to hold their belongings.. well, these women deserve a more dignified way to start a new life
A small tip you know who really needs and can use extra vases? Nursing homes! So many visitors bring flowers and often the residents run out of receptacles to put them in, I've even had to put flowers in water pictures due to a lack of vases!! 🙃🙂
We donated our leftover vases from our wedding to the small florist that did our wedding! They were so excited to get them back and reuse them for another wedding, and we were happy to give them a new home. We knew they were a small business that did incredible work, and it was so nice to upcycle everything back to them. Win-win for everyone!
Lol still keep my favorites mind you I’m picky about which ones. Friend had cabin no internet or local tv. Always grabbed a couple if the big mosquitoes set on or rain. 😂
OMG, Mellissa, my heart sank when you threw that vase. I own that exact vase and I purchased it. Not a cheap wedding gift! It retails for $$$'s of dollars. I waited and waited for it to go on sale at The Bay. No tossing the vase!!!
Hey Melissa and Chad! Make sure you guys are taking care of yourselves! There's a lot packed into your lives and those of us who've been with you and your family a long time would hate to see you guys burn out. Thank you for all your hard work! You're such a blessing to your viewers and their families. Hugs!
I always buy my flowers from a local, small business owner (pretty much the same one every time). They are thrilled to get the vases back--clean them thoroughly--and use them again. It strikes a really good business relationship. They've been more than happy to help if I've needed something last minute.
Another awesome video! I just did decluttering of books and I donated my children's books to a teacher for her 3rd grade classroom. Teachers appreciate donated items, because they spend so much of their own money on their classrooms.
This is definitely the best time to declutter your kids clothes and toys. Since we need to purchase back to school clothes anyway it’s a great time to take inventory of what they have and what they will need. I also have my son go through all of his games/toys and we really be ruthless over the summer. Christmas creeps up fast after they go back to school and this helps his room be prepared by giving it a through clean and declutter.
I’ve started major decluttering recently & the hardest for me was the sentimental family heirlooms. As an only child my mother gave me a ton of my grandmothers things that she accumulated as a world traveler. I finally came to realize my children will never want it and I don’t need all the things to remember my grandmother.
Vases in our area can be used by hospice. Flower shops donate unused flowers and volunteers arrange them in donated vases to hospice patients, rehabilitation centers etc
I called our local florist and he said that he takes vases. After I had dropped them off and was leaving in the car he ran out to give me a beautiful single rose.
Some of my favorite shows aren't on streaming services anymore. And with their constant in-and-out of shows and movies, I refuse to get rid of my all-time favorite DVDs.
Melissa I have watched a lot of decluttering videos and you are the first one to bring up gift bags, and giving them to a school is a brilliant idea, thank you.
If anyone needs to donate luggage that is still usable, call around local foster care agencies. When kids leave their foster home to go to a new foster home, or to go to live with a bio relative, they need luggage to pack up their belongings.
Your face in the thumbnail looks like "I regret this decision" haha. Such a reality when decluttering. My son who's 7, says "Mama, turn on the cleaning girl." He ♥️'s you. Thank you for such informative content.
My biggest item to declutter is my husband's spaces. He is a pack rat and will not go through things to even eliminate trash or broken/unusable items. It's a struggle for me since I want everything to have its place. One thing I have learned for myself is from "The Home Edit" book, "...if you bought yourself and item you never use, remember that we all make mistakes. Don't double down on the mistake by keeping.". Good to remember, I do this all the time.
We off-grid RV (camping) and love to find good movie DVDs to watch , we buy them for a dollar or two, watch them, and then donate them back to Goodwill, sort of a Redbox, except Goodwill gets the business
I have a Blu-Ray (and movies, generally) collection, as well as a book collection. I love them, organize them alphabetically, sit and stare at them... So yes, they stay!
Love your videos! Instead of tossing the throw pillows, I use covers to change my decor for seasons or just for a different look. They can be folded and easily stored in a linen closet. Amazon has a really nice selection and you’re recycling!
Agreed. Also you can use the fabric fat quarters from Walmart for 97 cents. Two of them will cover a pillow. So many color and style varieties! Don't sew, use fabric glue.
live.for.good I’m laughing. Got rid of most my doubles/triples of stuff when daughter moved into her Owen place. My kitchen seemed to double in size. Next trip over I’m unloading her back her collection of cook books. 😂😂
Whenever I purchase new undies I throw away the same number of old ones. At the end of the day, the old pair I was wearing goes in the trash and one of the new ones goes in the hamper instead. I do the same with bras.
I agree, once we get past half way through the year time seems to speed up and I just get busier and busier until the end of year rush. So now is the best time to declutter to make things easier later on.
@Afternoon Light Studio yes, obviously. But sometimes a coffee tin is just great for a craft(like a container the kids can decorate to keep their Valentine's in) especially when you want to reduce, reuse and recycle. And frankly, it's a little difficult for anyone to drink 25 tins of coffee in the six months of school leading up to Valentine's day. Jesus. @Afternoon Light Studio PREACH. Its a national disgrace the way our teachers get the bare minimum in all phases of their job and then r expected 2 work miracles with our children. Unreal.
Teachers definitely appreciate support and the thought behind donations . Consider donating items to teachers when you have enough for a full class set...and classes are larger than you might remember, or you have asked the teacher beforehand. I used to come into my room and find very random recycling on my desk. Being greeted by three egg cartons and an empty olive jar can be amusing but still...
@@hrlm8080 it's always a good idea to ask them if they need it before even bringing it, and make sure they know you'll find it another home if they don't need it.
For your next video I feel like I've got a good tip! I never take stuff to be donated (🤯keep reading, don't shun me!). Most of the time I load all donations into the car and then it stays there for another few days( pure laziness). Instead I scheduled a pick-up day with Big Brothers, Big Sisters (or any other organization that does pick ups). I can schedule it a week out so I know I have exactly one week to declutter an area and it keeps me on schedule! Then I set it out on the curb, and....💥 It's gone when I get home from work!
Thank you for proposing different ways to deal with decluttering objects, it is a pet peeve of mine when people in that type of videos are just saying “toss it” instead of repurposing, proper donating or recycling 👍🏻
I've been slowly downsizing my library lately -- it was super hard at first, but once I figured out a method that worked for me, it was no problem. Favourites/ones with strong sentimental meaning; non-fiction that I'm still interested in; anything that I'm collecting (in my case, older books). Everything else gets given away or donated. I prefer digital for reading anyway 👍
Thanks for the motivation! We keep all our games and dvds not for sentimental reasons, but because we live out in a rural area and are in satellite cable and internet. Much of the time if it is cloudy out or in bad weather or busy use times, everything is SLOW so we can pop in the actual dvd or game and watch or play...
We keep all disks. We have a vacation home in the mountains - no internet and very very weak cell signal. We watch dvd's, listen to cd's (or an old iPod with music loaded on it). And we don't subscribe to any streaming services so there's no way our dvd's and blurays are going anywhere.
Speaking of iPod, my laptop hard drive died, though I backed it all up it was my iPod hub and all the streaming music is gone. It's a small iPod so it doesn't hold all the tunes my laptop could. *sigh*
We actually moved today to a new apartment so in the process of packing I donated all of my vases to my local florist and all of my games and 📀 to the our local Goodwill. I’m happy that they will be recycled for and find new homes 😉
I moved to a new apartment June 1st. I had 6 weeks to prepare. I donated so much stuff because my storage capacity was drastically reduced (the reason I took this place). I responsibly put items in the dumpster or recycle bins. I moved into my new place and was shocked at how much stuff I still had! I realized I hadn’t been as brutal as I thought. So I picked an area of the apartment to start with and I schedule it for one day of my weekend. I again feel like I’m getting rid of a lot of stuff but when I look around it feels like I still have way too much! I wish I could say there is one thing I’m having difficulty purging but sad to say I cannot. I’m hoping by implementing your ideas will help me get thru my stuff quicker and more efficiently! Thank you for this video!! Take care!
I love you to pieces I was just in the process of commenting on your minimalist video and I was saying that as an ocd hoarder(I know oxymoron) but it’s true. I have a hard time getting rid of stuff for fear of needing it. And your kindhearted common sense approach really translates through the video. So thank you for helping people like me.
It’s been awhile since I’ve watched you and for some reason I really love the way you communicate now. I feel like I’m listening to a girlfriend whose giving me good advice. You’ve always been great and informative but you seem relaxed and looser now :) keep it up!
If there’s a ‘mom & pop’ florist in your neighborhood you might want to ask them if they want first dibs on your free vases to save them some overhead costs.
I'd recommend saving dvd/cd/video games in a cd binder. Streaming services change their policies constantly. Using Audible as an example, when you purchase a book on audible you have it as long as audible has a right to the property. Once they no longer have the right it may be removed from your library. If you have the download option for your purchases you can always back up your purchases. If that's not an option though keeping the physical copies on hand is a good idea to avoid having to purchase it again if it becomes unavailable online in the future.
I think DVDs and cases can be aesthetically pleasing in dens, game and tv rooms on a special shelf. It's also nostalgic and can spark conversations about fav old flicks!!
I recently discovered I had 2 old digital cameras and one old film camera. The local photography teacher was glad to get them, even the film camera! As a retired teacher, I can tell you that teachers take all kinds of stuff. I used to put my emptied (cleaned) Bon Maman jelly jars in the teachers’ lounge and they would disappear within the hour. That’s the best kind of recycling!
Here's the reason I keep books, DVDs and CDs: what if the digital service decides to get rid of something? Will you be able to replace it digitally or get a refund/credit? I don't trust the answer to that in light of some things I've heard about. So I'm going to keep some on a mp3 system that never touches the internet and eventually add a CD player to my newer car.
Streamin services suddenly drop shows, so I would hold on to DVD’s of favorite shows. But for all the rest, watch the shows when they’re available. The streaming services will usually be higher quality than the DVDs. You can remove the boxes and put the DVDs in folders to compress them a bit. And maybe get rid of stuff you don’t like that much.
We NEVER travel however we do have 2 large suitcases from our Europe trip after we got married. We have only used them a couple times since being married but they do make the perfect spot to store our extra blankets and pillows. If we do need to travel it’s easy enough to take them out and put them back in. Just a space saving tip for the luggage you need to keep. Might as well make it practical.
Thank you for talking about how to responsibly recycle and get rid of items. It makes me cringe when I watch decluttering videos and everything is just being thrown in the trash. Love your channel!
I ordered a new couch and rug so I'm arranging for my old couch, chair and rug to be disposed of. Also with the heat I'm looking forward to a Netflix binge later.
I actually do save gift bags, paper bags and even gift boxes. It's been 10 years that I keep giving presents to my family guests on Christmas, they open presents and they know that they can keep the boxes but I used to tell them that if they don't want the boxes to please give them back to me to avoid the waste. They are always happens to give them back sometimes they have kept for next Christmas and they give my Christmas present in my box hehe. Also, if there is any present bag and I noticed they toss it to the side I try to save it. I always get away with reusing them until they are wrinkled then I fill them with my declutter for donation. Everyone knows that I like to reuse them, I try to save a bit on the amount of waste, I'm not zero waste but I try to do things here and there. great video!
Lolol I have quite a few ripped pairs embarrassed to say. Passed the point that there is good airflow both front and back! I wear my oldies when I get my menstruation that way I don’t ruin my good pairs. The stickiness sometimes holds the ripped part together. I recently went and replenished with new ones. Some I just ripped apart and turned into dusters others I just tossed as they spread dust around instead of cleaning.
I declutter regularly but my cleaning stuff is something I have to declutter every 3 months now. It the best way to stop myself from buying more products that I don’t need. I have also set myself a target of not buying stationary or make up for 6 months. I have enough of both! I don’t want to waste space or money.
I definitely collect dvd's! I will always prefer having them over having a digital copy just because I know that if whatever service supplies my digital copies goes out of service or out of business, I still have the film. I also have a hard time letting go of paper clutter for similar reasons...
Your local florist may take the vases. I returned some and they were thrilled to get them . The florist told me that there are times they are asked to provide a floral piece and it helps keep the cost down if they can use recycled vases.
Dvds, videos, cds and books! All things I only go digital with when travelling! Not clutter if it's useful, I only have internet on my phone and I'm not watching stuff constantly on this! I'm old school and loving it!
We actually do keep gift bags and boxes. We have a TON of present wrapping stuff in a closet bc my mom and I love wrapping. Ive actually Been wrapping like crazy this summer to make props for a show and also wrapping graduation and birthday presents for my friends. The gift wrapping closet is a v functional space in our home!
Life with Krystle we used to have target but they couldn’t make it work and closed them all down! (Too many complaints that the deals and quality were better when they shopped in USA) lol
Totally agree with you, Melissa!! I'm a teacher so summer is an ideal time for to declutter! I have been on this since the beginning of July. I am now at the point of decluttering clothes. It will take me a while but come September I will hopefully have decluttered everything?! (Let's hope) Thank you so much for these videos!! There are soooo inspiring and have great ideas!!!
Electronics, crafting supplies, socks, beauty products, reusable water bottles, seasonal decoration..... oh gosh. I just moved and decluttered, and can already list out more things I need to ditch. This is what Melissa’s videos do for me!
When I have several vases I’m wanting to recycle, I run to Costco & buy a bouquet of flowers. Split it up into the vases & drop them off at a senior center or assisted living facility. I’ve recycled my vases & brightened someone else’s day.
I have been collecting greeting cards and wedding invitation cards. They are so beautifully designed, for which reason I make another beautiful cover with those designs payed on to of the front of the cover. The collection is piled up. I need to declutter the art and craft shelf in my house.
Thanks for your help I’m in my kitchen I got go much done i Got rid of a big box of things that I didn’t need it all I wanna thank you so much and I’m going to keep on watching your videos today cause it’s hot where I am staying cool in the house so I’m gonna go through my kitchen and my living room area thank you so much I love your videos have a wonderful weekend
My holiday decor needs pared down badly, as well as my silk floral crafting supplies for seasonal wreath making! Of course the endless paper monster is still roaming in my house!!!! UGH!!! LOVE your videos! Keep them coming! XO's
I love my dvd collection too. I have a library of movies with my favorite actors. And much agreed about internet outages and your streaming service may not have the movie you want to watch!
same here! We have many anniversary collection box sets of movies we love and will never get rid of! I can always trust my good ole DVD's and blue ray player!!
I’m so glad others feel the same way, I enjoy my DVD 📀 collection. Some of my favorite movies are not available on streaming services. Not on my declutter list.
Thanks for including responsible ways to get rid of clutter! 👏Habitat for Humanity doesn't take everything 🙁 so great job! I need to purge clothes that don't fit 😕😖
I decluttered my sock drawer! Got rid of the ones with holes and no matches, then bought a whole bunch of new pairs. I still need to do the same with my underwears and PJs. For DVDs, I recycled all the cases and now keep the discs in a DVD disc album...huge space saver! I still have a lot of VHS movies that I'm not quite ready to part with because my VHS player still works perfectly!
Every fall I go pick ditch flower and use my old vases and used glass container s to put together bouquets that we leave on the doorsteps of our friends.
I am a collection spot for old vases. I use them to put cut flower arrangements in them and gift to friends who are sick, lost a loved one, work mate who has a birthday or had a baby/even a new pet. I grow flowers for this very reason. I suppose I limit my vase collection to around a dozen and take back the vase if someone wants to return it.
I have just decluttered our bedroom and clothes... it was quite a task! But it is completed now. It was hard for me to part with old clothes, which of course I would not weare anymore either for size or for the fact that I am 36 and not 25 anymore ehehe. But it was way overdue, and finally I got around to do it. We have moved about 4 months ago to our newly bought condo, and there are still certain things that I would want to downsize, and yes, I find myself in the predicament you mentioned about the luggage... "what if I need that for this or that", but it is well clear that if I haven't used something in say 6 months, most likely I am not going to use it ever again. So I am trying to review things around the house with this principle, and it is working out... slowly, but it is effective!
Old winter coats that I haven’t used in years. They are in great condition but I have 2 favorite coats that I always wear and the rest are just taking up space in my closet.
I reuse gift bags for many things. When I take meals to people, the foil gets put in a pretty bag, I don’t need back. When we travel and need snacks, the gift bags open easily, and then we have a garbage bag too. Which brings me to the next use. Garbage in the car. The short fat bags are great. I keep a flat one in the car. If we buy something for someone else, into the bag it goes.
Last month I finally upgraded my TV and had to say goodbye to my massive entertainment center and the glorious storage it offered. I spent an afternoon taking the hundreds of DVDs I have and decasing them into a flip book, cutting the front papers to fit as well so Id recognize movies without the graphic printed on them. I’m still working on the 20 candles I had as well, those stayed since I paid good money and I enjoy their scents as I burn them. I know, I have a candle problem 😂😂
I don't live somewhere that internet is reliable, and what we have is expensive and limited. CDs and DVDs are vital to our entertainment, especially in bad weather. Pillows get recovered
We moved last year and I am a candle collector. I tossed any of them that were almost gone. (Yes I collected those too) I also collected gift bags. Since tossing them, haven't missed any of them.
30% OFF EVERYTHING SALE: MakersClean.com
I placed an order as soon as I saw the email advertising the sale. My 3rd order in the past year lol.

copicqwn Awesome tip. Thanks.
Thanks for this tip - I have a set that i put aside in my donate pile a few weeks back.
That is a wonderful idea! Children in foster care also need them.
That's a great idea! Some women's shelters also have employment programs so they also need nice business clothes for interviews.
Thanks for such a wonderful tip. I wouldn't have thought of that before!

Hospitals as well. Especially the sections where the new Mamas with their baby’s stay. What’s that called in English?

They're good for storing cut vegetables on the counter or in the fridge. Think chard, cilantro, celery, kale, etc.

Yes! That's such a great solution
And saves the environment too
Melanie G yes!
And they’re custom that way:-)
Just did this. Used curtains from the resale shop
The DVD’s are great when in an RV because many places don’t have WiFi so the DVD’s come in handy!!
correct. we do this.

Cannot / will not declutter my DVD collection!
This shows that decluttering means something different to everyone.
I got kinda scared when you threw the vase to the side😂💐
Me too!
Haha right!
Mimi Ba I was waiting for the sound of it smashing.😀
I think she threw the vase into a pile of 'throw pillows 2 be donated'.😅

It’s a tie between paper and books at my house!
Amen--me too.
Ugh! Me too!!
SAME!!! 😭
I find dealing with paper the very worst to deal with

One of my local florists accepts all old vases and potting pods. They'll reuse what they can, and recycled the rest, as possible. Call ahead!
Our florist takes them also. I make sure they are clean and like new. They don't have time to scrub scaly crusty vases.

Lol I do the laundry sooooo or it's faded and has a stain or rip it is repurposed like a cleaning cloth or recycling
haha, mine too
I use old luggage to store winter clothing used during holidays since I live in a tropical country.

A channel called minimal mom has good suggestions about decluttering kitchen items and other things
Whenever I purchase new undies I throw away the same number of old ones. At the end of the day, the old pair I was wearing goes in the trash and one of the new ones goes in the hamper instead. I do the same with bras.
I wash those items and give them to an organization that recycles clothes / textiles that can no longer be worn into cleaning rags
I pack old undies for vacation. When they are dirty, they get discarded.
I save old underwear for travel. I can dispose of it after wearing each piece!
LOL that is a great idea!
I agree, once we get past half way through the year time seems to speed up and I just get busier and busier until the end of year rush. So now is the best time to declutter to make things easier later on.
TEACHERS WOULD ALSO LIKE YOUR COFFEE TINS!
Jesus.
Education is the sliver bullet and schools should be palaces. But they're not. So in the meantime, maybe we can help by donating things to the classroom.
Teachers don't want clutter. A cluttered classroom is unpleasant and unhealthy.
@@hrlm8080 it's always a good idea to ask them if they need it before even bringing it, and make sure they know you'll find it another home if they don't need it.
Good tips! What a beautiful home! My entire house would fit into your living room.
Your husband is a very blessed man to have a take charge woman who helps others. God bless you both.
Big thanks for tips on what to do with the item instead of saying “get rid of it.” I never know what to do with usable items I no longer need.
Congrats on quitting smoking Chad, that's such a great accomplishment!
Patti Fitzpatrick Now THAT’S vacation !!🥳🥳
Speaking of iPod, my laptop hard drive died, though I backed it all up it was my iPod hub and all the streaming music is gone. It's a small iPod so it doesn't hold all the tunes my laptop could. *sigh*
We actually moved today to a new apartment so in the process of packing
I donated all of my vases to my local florist and all of my games and 📀 to the our local Goodwill.
I’m happy that they will be recycled for and find new homes 😉
@@mistral1114 no I didn't get a plant or anything else
But still ok
This year I took all my DVD's to Cuba, I cleaned my space and made some people happy. Thanks for sharing your tips.
Omg! I thought she was gonna get rid of that vase! I was about to beg for her to send it to me! I love it!
Yes! I started decluttering today because a new roommate moving in tomorrow. Nice timing!!
I think DVDs and cases can be aesthetically pleasing in dens, game and tv rooms on a special shelf. It's also nostalgic and can spark conversations about fav old flicks!!
iRaven vu aesthetically 😁.
Hey I actually always reuse the gift bags!
Love your videos...working my way through this series ( 10 items) ...and so enjoy hubby’s cameo appearances 😊
Happy Saturday Clean My Space Nation!! What are you doing today?
Watching Stranger Things season 3 and your vids
I ordered a new couch and rug so I'm arranging for my old couch, chair and rug to be disposed of. Also with the heat I'm looking forward to a Netflix binge later.
Defrosting the garage freezer.... I'm a wild woman. 🙄😆
Preparing to paint the entryway. Have some decluttering to do first.
Watching videos before going to sleep.
Not everyone can afford Netflix or Hulu I don’t even have cable! So yes I keep my movies and cds which can be placed on a DVD player or game station
Need to declutter towels and washcloths. Taking them straight to the dog pound ❤️
I find most you tubers are so boring and go on and go on, I love it that you get right to the point!
I am sorry to say that I hold on to underwear WAY after the toss point. If I'm ever in a car accident, I'm screwed. 😒 Fine. Going shopping...👍
When travelling, discard the old undies after wearing. It makes room in your suitcase going home!
I love these videos, it makes me instantly go and clear out. Thank you so much!
I still purchase DVDs. I guess I'm just concerned that the digital copies my disappear one day by accident and I'll never get them back
This concern is valid. If vudo goes bankrupt all my digital copies could be lost.
I keep my most favorite movies only. You never know what can happen with digital space and technology!
I understand , but discs can still become corrupt. Happened to me with one dvd.
If that happens just re-buy them. Amazon keeps track of any downloads you buy
I even still have a few VHS tapes that I bought in the '80's.
Chad sorting underwear ***pats beloved purple pickle undies***🤣🤣🤣
Holly N I read this comment before I actually saw it happen and was like whah?!?? Then died when it happened 😜
@@MsPants1632 🤣🤣🤣 that's extra funny!!! 😁
We ended up getting a Plex account to upload all our DVDs photos and audiobooks and they’re always available at my fingertips
I declutter regularly but my cleaning stuff is something I have to declutter every 3 months now. It the best way to stop myself from buying more products that I don’t need. I have also set myself a target of not buying stationary or make up for 6 months. I have enough of both! I don’t want to waste space or money.
I need to declutter scrapbooking supplies because there's 5-10 years before grandchildren and it's been over five years since I put a page together.
Hard drives, even destroyed, cannot go in the blue box or any domestic recycling service! Take it back to the electronics recycling depot.
Carolyn Leslie why do you have to destroy them first?
We actually do keep gift bags and boxes. We have a TON of present wrapping stuff in a closet bc my mom and I love wrapping. Ive actually Been wrapping like crazy this summer to make props for a show and also wrapping graduation and birthday presents for my friends. The gift wrapping closet is a v functional space in our home!
For batteries disposal, target has a bin designated just for battery disposal.
karina martinez Canada doesn’t have target
Life with Krystle we used to have target but they couldn’t make it work and closed them all down! (Too many complaints that the deals and quality were better when they shopped in USA) lol
SMG oh😲I didn’t know this? I will look into that. I have a bunch collected...
Love it: I started my journey decluttering and cleaning with you a few weeks ago. Perfectly in the summer here in Portugal!
I love this idea!
XO's
We love discs. Internet is not always working, and not eberything is available streaming.
Michelle Daouk Or it’s more expensive to buy the streaming version.
I love my dvd collection too. I have a library of movies with my favorite actors. And much agreed about internet outages and your streaming service may not have the movie you want to watch!
Exactly!
I put my must keep DVDs in a storage case and tossed the DVD cases. It really improved the space!
I use to watch curbs’ season 8 on repeat! Love you even more now!
Everything!!! Linen/cleaning supplies/lotion/shower gel/ toilet paper/paper towel closet.
I've been decluttering my craft room...that is challenging.. also, I haven't even started to decluttering CD music either🙄
Thanks for including responsible ways to get rid of clutter! 👏Habitat for Humanity doesn't take everything 🙁 so great job! I need to purge clothes that don't fit 😕😖
That was a HUGE thing for me...the anxiety over "what or where can I responsibly put this!".
I have way to many vases... thank you for the motivation 😘❤❤❤ keep up the great videos babe
Thanks for watching!
Every fall I go pick ditch flower and use my old vases and used glass container s to put together bouquets that we leave on the doorsteps of our friends.
You can always take them to your nurse nursing home or long-term acute care facility! Just a small tip 🙂🙃
I Keep my old undies for travelling if i can! Just throw it to the trash after travel or during traveling, so i do less laundry after i back home!
Good idea!
I have done this too
GD Dor.Dor. They sell new undies for this purpose!
My whole house is slowly being decluttered
Last month I finally upgraded my TV and had to say goodbye to my massive entertainment center and the glorious storage it offered. I spent an afternoon taking the hundreds of DVDs I have and decasing them into a flip book, cutting the front papers to fit as well so Id recognize movies without the graphic printed on them. I’m still working on the 20 candles I had as well, those stayed since I paid good money and I enjoy their scents as I burn them. I know, I have a candle problem 😂😂
one of those blue pillows would make that brown chair much cozier
I don't live somewhere that internet is reliable, and what we have is expensive and limited. CDs and DVDs are vital to our entertainment, especially in bad weather. Pillows get recovered
We moved last year and I am a candle collector. I tossed any of them that were almost gone. (Yes I collected those too) I also collected gift bags. Since tossing them, haven't missed any of them.
With the whole minimalist and going green approach, do you use cloth diapers?
