Fair warning… those shop towels are a great price but they suck! I’ve washed / soaked them every way I can think of and they still practically repel water! I don’t know how HF managed to mess up shop towels… small check, cheap check, absorbent fail!🤷🏻♂️
If you’re looking for a good assisted OTF knife then I highly recommend Cobratec! I’m hard on most tools (borderline abusive) so I don’t normally spend much on knives but my uncle gave me one and it’s a beast! Lifetime warranty, Benchmade quality, razor sharp D2 steel, buttery smooth action… the camo finish is kinda wearing off but otherwise I love it!
Love what you guys are doing! But the red shop towels are out. They bleach red die like crazy and shred to easily for my shop. I fell for those and and bought 3 bags. I ended up soaking them in diluted vinegar water, about 1:8 vinegar to water. Than washing them. I'm just waiting for the last handful to disintegrate and than restock with the white ones.
would be very interested in an update to your opinion after you have been using it for awhile. I am in the market for one, unsure if the Quinn version holds up. Lifetime warranty is great but if it breaks in the middle of a job you’re stuck. I do like HF and especially Quinn, Icon even some Pittsburg.
Have you guys seen the huge sale coming up in August? There is a flier that leaked online and there are some great sales. 40% off ICON ratchets for one, and that 35 piece ICON ratchet & bit set that is usually $39 is going to be 37% off and be like $25. ITC members get early access so if anyone is looking to buy might be a good time to wait a bit. That is so cool you guys are able to help students who don't have the money to buy the tools they need. I wish I was able to do something like that but living paycheck to paycheck like most middle class Americans it can be hard to just survive yourself.
The QUINN scraper is just a brand labeled TOUGH BUILT scraper from Wal Mart. Same EXACT tool. But they are wonderful for removing state park windshield stickers!!! Best thing I’ve found for.
I want one of those Kobalt mini boxes. It's the perfect size for a basic atv tool kit. I dont think I'd ride with it, but it's the perfect size to keep most of the smaller tools together in one place. It would be great for the 1/4 inch dr stuff. I wish tool companies would start including JIS tip bits with their impact drivers. I was going to get one of the Quinn but, Vessel makes one that comes with JIS bits. I believe it's only about $12-$15 more. BTW, I enjoy y'alls vids.
I have been a huge fan of Bauer 20amp tools for several years. From impact drivers to extendable tree limb saws. I have never had a failed tool or a failed battery. I think I have 3 batteries, 3 chargers and 8 tools. I think the only issue I ever had was the led lights for the impact driver stopped working.
Another great vid. I'm loving the Quinn stuff I've bought. I'm amazed at the quality and no one is really talking about the brand. I don't need the Icon price tag cuz Quinn is very affordable and well made. So many times I walk out of HF and think "I paid for all this stuff but I feel like I stole it!" haha Having said that, I think the Pittsburgh pry bar set is a bit nicer than the Quinn set. It has 4 sizes and it's less expensive also has rubber covers for the pry end! I like the Icon scraper more than the Quinn. It's long reach so on my SUV, I can scrape those bugs in the middle of the windshield without a step stool! So the Goop is nice but I might swap that out for a really good, powerful, magnetic light of some sort. The stick like from Icon is awesome and bright enough for anything and I think a light is more essential than hand cleaner.....heck you've got towels. :) The Towels and Impact Driver - agree!!
Their a few Pittsburgh hands tools that suck like their version of vise grips and a few other things. . But all in all their stuff will get the job done. And quin and icon is many steps up and still cheaper than snap. On .
Guys DO NOT WASH those Grant red rags in your washer it will ruin whatever is in next load!!! You can get by washing the white ones, but not the RED ones are a knightmare, just toss them when done with, since their cheap enough anyways. God Bless, take care
😅Mine thing is sone of the brand name tools, isnt much if a different the. Harbor frieght prices...I mean im not takking snap on...But kkein and miwalkie, brands like..I just bought me a miwalkie 12 v that impact driver, with ingot at a decent price..

Most are like that, the paper ones are meant to absorb liquid better

I could find some of those items very useful. Thanks, you guys.
On older motorcycles it was common to see Phillip screws used on the side cases, and you could not get them off without an impact screwdriver.
I would like to see that comparison of the impact screwdriver sets. I hear an impact screwdriver is a must to work on Honda brake rotors.
We will try it out
I can attest to that ^^^ the 1999 up Silverado family trucks/vans require Torx but same concept
