I was a Harbor Freight Hater up until about 2012, when HF came to a neighboring city 4 miles away. Now I love HF, especially the Icon and Bauer Cordless Tools. Love your Father and Son Dynamic! Thanks for sharing!
The Titanium Easy-Flux 125 is what you’re thinking of. Supposedly for the 20 or 30 extra dollars most folks are saying it’s a significant step up from the Chicago Electric. Can’t confirm, that’s just what a lot of TH-cam tool guys have said over the last year or so.
I have the Chief 1/4" pro angle die grinder and it's been awesome. I don't use it daily, but I maintain it here and there and it hasn't given me any problems. Air tool oil is nutrients for any pneumatic tool. Go Chiefs!
I can't begin to tell you how much I've got done with my CE 125. It's never let me down. I'm not talking critical structural welds here, that's obviously not its place. I wouldn't hesitate on getting another for the cost, but the Titanium takes the crown.
Do you guys have the pittsburg go thru/pass thru set?..I don't think I've seen it in your toolboxes. It stays in my main tool bag along with the icon mini ratchet bit set that everyone loves. I mostly remodel, but work on everything. If you don't have the go thru set, I highly recommend...cool video as always.
Wow this is so bizarre. I have that exact box except for I have a locker on each end and it's black. Hate the color but buddy took 5 k off because there was a scratch but believe you me I'd love to have the yellow. Trade?😜 But not only that the two miniature boxes I also have both of those but in different colors as well. No real reason for the comment I just thought it was pretty bizarre. Anyway I'm going to definitely have a watch and see what else you have out there. In saying that take care and see you in the comment section again soon 👍 🇨🇦 🔧
You also gotta tell people they need to buy a welders mask and proper protective gear because people can be pretty dumb. Gloves protective sleeves the basics. I don’t have a welder yet but I have been thinking about it.
@@jimprice8557 you don’t want people going out and grabbing welders and hooking them up then going blind and getting 2nd degree burns on their arms or burning their sack off then blaming price customs for their idiocy. Many People are born without common these sense days. Stay classy.
Love harbor freight almost as much as your videos.

The Titanium 125 was on sell for $99 just the other day ( a one day only sale).
It’s like $50 more expensive than the Chicago.
Good video. :) Yeah, I also think HF tools are good enough for most of us DIY, entry level, shade-tree at-home mechanics.
Yes
Thanks we appreciate it

I have the same welder, I bought mine for 89 also. It’s not the best but if you clean the metal and take a little time it will get the job done.

I think that welder is an A/C welder. The titanium is a D/C welder . Huge difference. I could be wrong though.
