To keep my cats from messing with my plants I misted them with water and sprinkled a little cayenne pepper on them, only had to do it once and they don’t bother them anymore. It doesn’t hurt the plant or the cat.

Hello Maureen from New Zealand! That is one place I would love to visit! It fascinates me how our seasons are flip flopped🤔 it is very warm now. We’re in the mid to upper 90°s (35s for you ☺️) I do love decorating and each week with new items from estate sales, it’s ever evolving 🤣 my next seasonal tour will be in late august as I get excited for Fall 🍄🟫🍂🍁 I’m excited already for fall as it’s my favorite but too soon😅 what is your favorite season in New Zealand?

Hello what a beautiful home with all the treasures I have many things to from garage sales goodwill but today I want to thank you for sharing your home it’s beautiful and I have new ideas God bless you
Awe, thank you so much for visiting me❤️ I love Goodwill and garage sales but sadly here in Fayetteville, neither are very good. There are a couple of churches that have annual garage sales and those are good if you get there early. So estate sales here I’ve found are one of the best thrift options🥰 please come back🥰 I do seasonal home tours and weekly estate hauls and decorating along with whatever suits my fancy thrown in🤣
The holes in your cupboard in the bathroom you could put some vintage ribbon just run it down the sides to cover up the holes , just glue it down the sides.
Oh! Thats an interesting idea! I need to do something because the holes to me are a bit unsightly 😬

Hello! Thank you so much for watching. ❤️ I use 3M Velcro strips to adhere them to the wall. Sticks to the mirror and the wall and is perfect width. If I ever wanted to remove them hopefully supposed to be no damage to wall or mirror 🥰

Your home is lovely but I wish I could’ve seen more of your rooms and less talking about where everything came from. Other than eBay or Amazon which we’re all familiar with I have no idea where those other places are since I don’t live in your area.

So I clicked because it says my “thrifted” home but majority of stuff was from Amazon….. disappointing, I don’t like supporting them.
I do like things from Amazon. But I also shop EBay, Etsy, Local thrift stores, flea markets, antique markets and Estate sales. I listed Amazon links for those who are interested but I know not everyone likes Amazon. Everyone is entitled to shop where they like 🥰 I enjoy a variety so it’s more about the item and price than the where. ☺️ thank you for watching.

@@marnigarringer9028 how is it negative to point out that she’s basically stating that her home is Thrifted hence the channel name, but for an unknowing viewer like me who clicks on it and finds out that half the stuff is from Amazon is disappointed. I would hardly call that being negative, so just pointing out the obvious. Some of us do actually like supporting local thrift stores or seeing other unique finds from places other than generic Amazon. That was all. And if someone wants to make it on YT feedback is kind of important.

Girl I wrote this SUPER long comment. About all the pieces, and all the things. But I'm just going to wrap it into one sentence. YOUR HOME AND ALL YOUR PIECES ARE AMAZING AND I LOVE IT ALL!!❤ Now I'll just say a few things😄 Love all the kitties, all the gorgeous plates & Florals! That's one of the prettiest wreaths I've ever seen! The plant in the window beside the creeping Jenny is a praying hands plant. Have you noticed at night the 2 side by side leaves will close together then open in the mornings? My mom used to propagate plants, pot them when they got bigger and sell them at her yard sales. And to whoever wanted them. I always said she had a green hand, not just a thumb.. she was amazing with plants🥹 Anything i see that i know she used to have i buy and I've made a sweet collection. I'd love for you to do A video of how you do the yarn girls pictures..i need one and I'm not crafty🫤 but i can usually copy pretty good! I'm obsessed with your Hoosier!! I hope i can find one when we move! There's several pieces I want! Right now I just have my step back & a small display cabinet. I want a old hutch too. Your craft room is awesome! And so are all the gallery walls!! You have some gorgeous quilts!! I love the green one, my favorite color😊 On, i saw my hometown on the NC cutting board..cool😁 Just so much to say lol But I'm going to say this and stop.. we are so so much alike! I say i don't care all the time.. they're my things and i love them, that why i have them! I'm A maxilmilist and i always will be! The bigger the house are rooms the more I'll have.. Period! @@tammyleviner3070 I love your long comments. If we met in person we’d get along like a house on fire😅🥰🤣! I love books so much! I have so many to be read. And even when I decorate with them I also want them to be ones I’m actually interested in for their content not just their aesthetic 🤣 although I am a sucker for an old looking book👀 I should do that with some of my pictures, the mod podge age effect. But if they’re framed, I’m done😂 Amazon has some amazing flowers and love they come to my house! I’m such a hermit! I wish we both had more of our momma’s things. I think back to even last summer when we were helping my dad downsize and sadly I wasn’t in the frame of mind I am now, there is more I probably would have taken now😫 I love my prayer plant, my favorite aunt had one and i always remembered it folding in prayer at night. That’s why I named it after the Reverend Billy Graham❤️ she also had one I’d love to find that look kind of like a fern but when you touch the leaves, it reacted by closing up. Yes, the skeleton keys are outrageous! I’ve seen them for $5 a key! 😱 I won’t pay that! What is a step back cupboard? We looked probably over a year before we found that Hoosier. They were either in poor condition, been painted horrible colors, missing the good parts or pricing was ridiculous. The day we got that one, God was winking at us as they had just dropped the price significantly to a steal and we had to get it🤣 you’ll have to email me and I could send you a yarn girl for your new home🥰 thank you again for being my friend, your wonderful comments and stopping by❤️
