She’s so right about owning a house as a young person these days. Me and my husband bought our house at 23 in 2018. A simple cottage style 3 bed 2 baths and we’re so thankful we got the chance to be home owners right before the market changed.
The first two homes are some of my favourites. They both have a great eye for finding unique items and styling them . The kitchen in the second home is perfection.
Admire Deb Foglia’s style. Her taste in paintings is exceptional. The un-laquered brass and marble added elegance and the built-ins look like they came w/ the original home.
Hello Margo, I’ve followed you on utube for a long time and loved watching you style the bar and coffee shop. I’ve missed you! But, I’m so happy to see the remodeled kitchen and butlers pantry and a new baby on the way ❤❤❤
Love that this episode piggyback’s off the previous feature, which was entirely (and intentionally) undecorated. Both have a place on this channel and in the arts world 👍 Support 🙏🏻
Oh my!! 2:42:18-- this apartment was gorgeous. A pretty little sanctuary for an educated, well travelled single woman who wants both softness AND a little flair in equal measure. Charming!
I loved the home of the expecting couple the best. I like a cozy down home home.😊 Lindsey drove me nuts laughing, after everything she said! I just couldn't watch her anymore..🙄 The gals apartment was nice, I just couldn't handle all the pink. But, to each his own. That's what makes the world go around😊
The third young lady showed the most imagination and creativity for me. Many of her things were not my taste but I loved how she felt about them and incorporated them into her life. That’s what makes horse-racing! She has a lovely and fairly spacious apartment and she appears to be making great use of her spaces. Bravo, I really enjoyed her very creative tour!!!
I love thrift stores you find the coolest stuff and when it comes to clothes, always wash mine before I wear them. Would you find the coolest clothes there too so don’t knock a thriftstore🤣🤣🤣
I love that you sit at the dining room table and use your china, it confuses me that many families eat all over the house. My parents requested that we ate together at the table and my Mom set a full table; I can't remember using paper plates. So, I inherited my Mom's decor for table setting.
As a child my mother was rarely home and I didn't have a dad. Now after years of having everyone eat all over the house I am starting to desire having a table where we all sit and eat. Many people never have the benefit and blessing of having a functional family.
I truly love the way you did your fireplace . I've been trying to figure out how to do mine that I don't use either. You gave me a lot of inspirations as to how to decorate me house. Thank you so much.
Yes,turn the bell shape globes into christmas bells.add wood ornate handles and spray black first then sponge press antique gold .I added a faux bead to inside of bell. 🙂 sorry, I kind of get carried away when it comes to holiday DIY'S . Always love seeing all your beautiful collections and your creative style of painting.I have learned alot from watching your channel. Deborah, you are going to have so much fun Christmas shopping for your grandbaby. 🎅🎄🤶. I was so happy to see you were back.Yep,I have missed you.🙂.
I love your decorating aesthetic….very much my kind of style. So many times the homes are large and have the room for large furniture…..yours is small like mine….beautiful and cozy.
Absolutely! couldn't agree more If you're looking for unique, in season florals/greenery Trader Joe's has a wonderful and affordable selection. For example, IN March, they are perhaps the only place I can find a live Shamrock plant.
Margot, I understand the romance of a wood burning fireplace. The trouble with them, aside from the ashes having to be removed and periodically hiring a chimney sweep, is the smoke. First, it MUST go up the chimney. With some chimneys, if the wind comes from the wrong direction or if the air is too humid and heavy, the smoke will fill the house instead. That was the case with my parent's last home. They switched to gas and they were much happier with it. Not only do you not have the lingering smoke in the house after a wood fire dies down (as was the case at my in-law's), but you can simply turn off the gas when you want to go to bed, rather than stay up until the wood fire dies down. There is always a chance that a lone spark will catch the house on fire while you sleep. That happened to a friend of mine. Luckily, they all got out in time. Also, I don't know what finish is on your great grandmother's Queen Ann console table, but alcohol will destroy most finishes. You may want to rethink it's use as a bar, if it's finish is susceptible and since the piece is so precious. Once the original finish is ruined, the damage my be too costly to restore and too risky to trust to someone, who may think stripping and refinishing is the only option. Take care and enjoy the new baby! 👶👣
21:02 Wood class?! Wow ..school isnt what it used to be! (1st vlog) I think this young lady gets it; U give Ur house soul by putting what U like n cherish in Ur living space❤making it a home.
Love Lindsey’s home so much!!! I feel like we’d be such good friends. I have a different style but the values behind decor are the same! Love from Los Angeles.
1st home is beautiful, no doubt. However, my brain instantly went to all the time and energy it would take to dust all that open shelving and then clean the dish ware prior to using it, especially those pieces that aren’t used regularly. Once her baby arrives, cleaning and dusting will have to take a back seat.
Not necessarily, I had 3 children and kept a very clean organized home. I also homeschooled my children, and cooked a meal every night, and we sat at the table, and had good times fellowshipping with our children and company.
Best thrifting story on Homeworthy is definitely her statue find on two buses and up two flights of stairs. Usually the story is simply my decorator, my friend, my mom or myself go to England or France to antique and I liked this
How I laughed when I read your comment! There’s a ten-minute rule in our house - you’re only allowed to complain about something being spoilt if it happens within the first ten mins of you getting it. After that, it’s fair game for claws, fur, and cat-sick!

So much inspiration, I need to watch through again with tea and a notepad but I have to say, the baskets around the fireplace and the books give me health and safety alarm bells. Hopefully it is not a functioning fireplace 😮
All of these certainly took some work. Most of it is adorbs or charming sometimes it's not going in quite the right direction. None of these is exactly right as it would be by a classic designer but hey, it's their home. Many people fall in love with who they are playing at via the decor notions. They often get carried away and forget things or over do things claiming Maximalism, vintage or even antique. People forget to use red to pull a room together. Or they have no idea of how to use a color wheel. Things get too beige or the slate blue does nothing for the space nor does excessive use of black walls etc. The science eludes them.
A house cannot be "personable". I assume that she meant "personal." Very cozy and I really liked her hutch filled with her collection of dishes and decor but I cringe at those farmhouse sinks that have become so ubiiquitous. IMO, they stick out like a sore thumb and just look intrusive and unattractive. Her dress was adorable though.
That pregnant lady.....her beautiful fireplace ruined by putting so many chatchkis and baskets around it. She needs to edit !!! Pick one big statement piece, and then two to three small accessories. That fireplace makes me want to sweep everything on it into a garbage bin and start over.
I like the baskets, but the thingsssssss on top of the fireplace … WOW! Too much for my taste. It would drive me crazy if they were in my house, but it’s her house and she’s done what she likes. Good for her!
Thoroughly enjoyed the first home, liked the second one but had to tuen off after a few minutes of listening to the third woman’s insipid “aren’t I clever” laugh after almost every statement about herself. What an insufferable boor.
@Thedriftwoodlover I really like this woman very much, because she has a very clear way of talking. Her laughter after some sentences feels good to me, ' cause I think she really can make fun of herself 😉 She seems to be a happy person with a sparkling attitude😊 greetings from Germany
I do believe creating your own design with what you love is so much better than following trends.

i like the first home,It radiates warmth. I wish the expectant young mother all the best
Ich liebe auch alte dinge, bin auch so eingerichtet. Diese wohnung sieht eher aus wie ein museum. Überall diese bücherstapel!😜
The first house in this vlog is my absolutely most favorite in the Homeworthy show!!!!!
Margot has her own TH-cam channel. You will love it.

Mine too!! So warm and inviting.

I enjoyed all of them for various reasons. What makes them special is how much each person made the spaces her own. We are each of us unique.
First and second ones were my favorites, the first one with the cottrge, is so pretty and cozy.
compartmentalization and maximalism make my heart happy....thank you for bucking the trend
2nd home mural she painted-Wow!!! Beautifully done 💕
Margo and Eric’s home is absolutely charming! I could move right in there and it would be exactly the style that I have in my home❤
lovely peaceful home! Those bows will disappear as a toddler stands up ha Love the antiques!!!🥰

The apartment is very unique and really love her style. The pink is very soothing. Love the couch for sure. Thanks for sharing your home.

Thrift stores are like a fun treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find.😁
Love thrifting. I volunteer at a local nonprofit store.

Love 1st house most people could see themselves living in that homey cottage
Your home is beautiful. Winston is a great place to live.
Absolutely love your home. So pretty 🎀 gorgeous collections and so cosy.
Margot, where have you been? Great to see you and your beautiful thriftworthy home.
3:14:40 Wow! 🤩Love your place so much. I was born & raised in SoCal LA Plz be safe with those straw chandeliers they will catch on fire 🔥🕯💡

Love the pink walls in the last house! Such a cozy warm space! 🙂
Great editing! Enjoyed seeing all the different houses. Bravo!!!
This lady's design style is going to be rocked when she has her baby
disagree.
Why?
Home. I love the outside and I love the inside and how you have furnished it. Your home is a great inspiration.

Last home 🏠 is my favorite ❤️

My favourite so far, absolutely charming 😊
oh, thank you, so much.
how nice and cozy.
someday, i'd like to stay in that kind of place, a while.
Putting art over the tv to hide it is a great idea!
One of my favorite 🩷
The third house is stunning. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely farmhouse feel.
I have black and cream checked curtains like your green check. They came oringally from Ballard Design and you got a unbelievable good buy!!
Vintage Accents, so cute
instead of hiding the sconce cord, she made it part of the wall decor, cool
The 2nd home, her "vintage" dining chairs are created from Duncan Fife. Very valuable.
The pink apartment is my favorite and the one that best exemplifies ‘thrifted’ decor.
Best thrifting story on Homeworthy is definitely her statue find on two buses and up two flights of stairs. Usually the story is simply my decorator, my friend, my mom or myself go to England or France to antique and I liked this
Exactly!
Me too on maximalist
❤ the gallery wall
I love your apartment 😊
I loved the last one, calm but interesting ❤
Yes. It was quiet and glamorous. 🥰
forget nice things with cats hah i have 4, but you love them soo

I didn’t know Margo was pregnant..congrats ❤
last lady for sure
Those baskets are driving me crazy! Really hanging on a fireplace?😳
❤❤❤
Don’t balance a silver tray on the bathtub. It’s bound to fall into the bath with everything on it.
Can someone please tell me the name of the blue used for the mantle?
Don’t hang mirrors in the stairwell, unless you plan to dress and undress there.
Does Margo (1st house) have a TH-cam channel?
So much inspiration, I need to watch through again with tea and a notepad but I have to say, the baskets around the fireplace and the books give me health and safety alarm bells. Hopefully it is not a functioning fireplace 😮
She said it wasn’t.
Baskets over done on fireplace to many throughout

дякую !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Sure, block the expensive tapestry with a plant.
What is so “English country” about disco balls?
No baskets on the mantel, please! It’s a fire hazard. Put the baskets in the kitchen where they belong.
Why block sunlight into the dining room. Are you a vampire?
The last lady is not very good interesting, the place is too hodge- podge.
No window treatments? What about privacy? The first house is very impractical…..
...your sentences end up being "Sing-songy....cutesy- wootsy."...or, ends with a question....
SO ANNOYING!
I can’t watch any more of this video. It’s too painful.

IMO, they stick out like a sore thumb and just look intrusive and unattractive. Her dress was adorable though.
To much of a explanation . Such an ego trip. Couldn't stay longer than the first house, even if it was a beautiful one.😢
Sounds just a touch like jealousy.
Yes was a little boring. Found myself skipping forward alot
Good thing the fireplace belongs to her and not you then, huh?
A pine cupboard which is ‘several hundred years old’……….yeah, whatever. Talk about kidding one’s self. 🙄
Thoroughly enjoyed the first home, liked the second one but had to tuen off after a few minutes of listening to the third woman’s insipid “aren’t I clever” laugh after almost every statement about herself. What an insufferable boor.
