Kelly you were right this was a great video and it was worth the wait. Thank you for sharing the garage sales with us. The lemon lady is back!! I would have gone crazy for those $4.00 bags at the one-yard sale. What a great idea to separate the holiday decorations like that. I enjoyed this video so much I watched it twice. I am sorry for being so hard on you yesterday but I miss you when you do not upload. I am so glad I found your channel and this was a great one. Donna xoxo Congrats to Lisa on winning that flying pig OMG.
Kelly, you're a RIOT!!!! Ain't NOBODY gonna MESS WITH YOU, AND CERTAINLY NOT YOUR MOM!!!! So GLAD you all walked away with some GREAT BUYS!!!! Look forward to seeing them in your Shop!!!!
LOVE when you go saling with Debbie and your mom!! I have bought and sold for 40 years.....doing flea markets, booths and my Sunday Market where I turned the chicken coop into my store. I used to take my mom with me as much as possible, not just for the company, but she was crafty (mostly with floral). I also had lists from my friends that had shops, for stuff to pick up.....since they couldn't get to go. Now I'm mostly a homebody, I have some mobility issues. I still go to garage sales (it's in our blood lol) I just have to do it on a smaller scale. My mom and sister did a lot of makeovers, while I enjoyed doing the displays and vignettes. Now I buy what I like, and like Debbie just change it out. I understand that when you have a shop, you have to be selective on what you buy. That being said......that silver metal bird for $5 you asked " but where would I put it?" I was screaming..."where wouldn't you?!" LOL. Lastly, I can always tell a garage sale where they used to have a shop....things are displayed nicely. The last garage sale I HAD was a 3 month sale every sat. The fact that I displayed things in little vignettes helped sell all of it. I've always believed it you group things together, the customer is more likely to buy the whole display. I was able to completely empty BOTH of my storage units. Thanks for another wonderful video!!
I love watching your yard sale episodes. I’m a yard sale junkie. My very best and exciting fine was a vintage wallpaper table frame. The frame alone can cost nearly $100. As soon as I got out of the car…. I headed straight for that frame. There was no price on it, I asked the lady what it was and she said it was a quilt frame. I asked what she was asking for it. She said $2. TWO DOLLARS. I was so happy with my find of the day.
The black rug you purchased makes a great stencil, we paint our concrete floor gray & painted the top of the rug white flipped & stamped away it turned out so nice
Kelly, I love the pace that you edited this video at. It’s such a delight to see you all together enjoying each other and pondering what you can do with what you might purchase at these sales. You are all so very blessed. 😊
Hi Sally! Thank you so much for the compliment on my editing!!! I appreciate that!! To your question of what do we do with all the stuff you purchases....we have a store and we also do shows, too. As far as, the seasonal stuff....we keep those things in a store unit that we rent so that our houses and the shop aren't overflowing! LOL Now, Debbie doesn't sell her things...she is constantly redecorating...so, she will swap out one thing for another. Something goes in....something comes out. Anyway, hope that answers your question! Thanks so much for watching and for the sweet compliments, Sally!!! XOXO
I've just discovered your channel and after watching only 2 of your videos I just subscribed! I have to say that I LOVE your take on bringing an item that you find in the wild to the next level... I would never have looked twice at that old wooden "COOKIES" bucket - but when you said you had painted one exactly like it BLACK, distressed it, and then put that bouquet of cottons bolls in it and showed a photo of how it turned out - well, I wanted it immediately! Same goes for that very plain-Jane oak stool where you painted the legs green and stained the seat natural. I NEVER would have thought of that! I'm looking forward to seeing lots of cool ideas in your content that will bring MY thrifted and salvaged items into the light! CAN'T WAIT! 😊
I knew you were going to buy the drawer for $3. You didnt disappoint. You had me laughing and you even had my husband laughing, too. LOVE, LOVE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS YOU ARE FUN, GOOD THERAPY, .AND SUCH A BLAST!
I love when you share the different ideas for redoing some of the things you see at the sakes whether you choose to by them or not. I’m sure it inspires more than just me.
I love your videos. You're much more restrained than me because there were so many things I'd have bought! I'm watching and saying "oh I like that, and that and that" 🤣
It is, isn't it?!?! We have so much fun when we go out garage saling and thrifting!!! It's so much funnier when you go with friends!!! Anyway, thanks for watching!!! XOXO
I love watching your videos.Several years ago I had an antique store and used that saying about the box of chocolates on my business cards and hearing you say it made my day. I had never heard anyone else say it before except Forest Gump in the movie , that's where I got it from. You girls are all a real kick, that's another thing I enjoy about your videos. Best to you all 😊
I heard your cute accent and then Van Dyke and I thought -- they're in Detroit! Been gone 35 years, but it's so good to hear you talk and feel like I'm back home. Such a fun video.
I pick up the bundt pans every time I see them too. Once you make 1 pumpkin, you want make more. I had some Rusty crusty metal leaves that I used on mine & found more on Etsy, so looking forward to more 😊 It's all your fault Kelly...lol
Oh wow! At the sale where Debbie found her flying pig last year, they had my marabou feather white Christmas tree! I have never seen anyone have one like mine! I got so excited-i wanted to jump through time & space to buy it! (Mine needs a friend - lol) I got it from Marshall Fields, around 2004-ish. Thanks for taking us on your adventures!
Wow what juicy sales!!!! I make those burlap candy games too. You can also wrap them in warm and natural batting. Love the grab bags. Such great deals!!!
Have you ever made wind chimes out of an old old silver? You take the fork and you bend the prongs out and tour them. Twist them in bend them out and both sides and all directions. All 4 directions, and then you hang your spoons from it. And then hang on a spoon, a big spoon in the middle. And that's your chimer I have one it's really cool
New follower! I love your channel! And I LOVE how blessed your mom came across the load of loads of lemon decor! I’m currently into ‘lemons’ everything!!! 💕
This is a terrific video. My favorites are always you three shopping garage sales. I love to see what you buy. All the Halloween & fall items were yelling at me. Sigh!
You can also make wind chimes out of it you take a fork and you've been the problems of the fork twisted and bend it into directions half-and-half and then take plastic courting and hang your different spoons from it and then put a knife in the middle or another big spoon and that access your timer turns out really pretty and then you could put something on the top of it
Kelly. Here I am in ICU at the hospital. They didn’t think I was going to make it but they don’t know this crafter. I am here watching you and the nurses keep coming in to see yo. Love yo
OMG 😳 I'm flattered that you are watching me from the ICU but I'm so worried about you! WOW, they didn't think you were going to make it?!?! Yes, us crafters are tough...I'll give you that but I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend!!! Please take care of yourself!!! I want you watching Flea Market Rescue for a very long time!!! Hugs, prayers, and love!!!! -Kelly PS>When you get out...I'm sending you a bag! Send me your address!!!
@24.34 Those large pressed tin pieces would be wonderful (after being cut separately) to use in some concrete stepping stones OR to stamp a pattern onto some plain fabric.
Love your garage sales and thrifting videos. Sometimes I wish I could come through the screen and be at those garage sales with you guys. I no longer walk very well so no longer get to go to sales and thrift stores unless some takes me with my electric scooter. Sherry, the Roseville pottery was a great buy! You should make a nice profit. Just one thing I have learned about Sherry and her Mom, they love to paint every thing white (es .............................. pecially Sherry). Good wishes on your re-
I wish I lived in your state so I could go to all those places you shopped at! Fabulous treasures for all & some really good prices! Brings back memories of going shopping @ tbe Flea market, church , yard ,garage & estate sales with my mom back in Massachusetts years ago. We have a blast! Good for you! Are you ready to go out dancing yet?
Yeah another great Video I loved it. My husband john even came and watched some with me. Those grab bags were such a good idea and price. So much stuff at all of those sales and church sales that I wanted. God bless mom and her lemon love.
That tree mode you could use plastic pairs and made 1 in 2 days. Dump it. I mean, that could be something you could start like in May and December. You'd have a bunch of a maid and you could sell a bunch of those because you're always picking up wooden trees and that are stressed and white trees that are stressed that are made out of other stuff and that would've been cool for saint Reese I would love that to make. Sceneries, I hope I could find a mole like that. Sometime could do my Christmas scenery with the deer in the trees and lights I do. Winter sceneries and they turn out so pretty
Saw the Taste of Home magazines. I have about 30 old ones. Recipes never grow old. Great ideas. I'm having yard sale withdrawals. Its been raining or 100 degrees every weekend for past month. Need to have my own sale. Too hot for me. Lol
I know you must have been north of 21 mile road because when I lived in Utica, MI the roads were not paved. And you mentioned Van Dyke Hwy.. brings back memories.
I plan going to the Antique and Flea Market Show in Springfield,Oh. in September and I am looking forward to seeing you, your Mom and Karma again !!! I will bring 2 of my friends along as well 😊
Wow! You guys hit some garage sales n let’s not forget the rummage sales too. I think everyone did really well. Curious though where does Debbie n your Mom store all their goodies. Your mom is a piece of work with all her Halloween stuff n her lemons. Either way it’s so much fun like you said, to go to garage sales. I saw some great things I wouldn’t mind having. I love going but just don’t have the space or my own booth to sell any. Looking forward to some makeovers. ♥️😊👍🌟🌟🌟
Someone had stopped in and saw the horse heads….she then went to eat at the White Horse Inn and came running back in 10 minutes before we closed saying she had to have them! It was so cute!!! Anyway, we’re always looking for horse decor, so stop in…you never know what we’ll have!!! Thanks for watching!!! XOXO

I know you must have been north of 21 mile road because when I lived in Utica, MI the roads were not paved. And you mentioned Van Dyke Hwy.. brings back memories.
Also, look up the ceramic urns as USA pottery. That is what my friend that collects McCoy and other pottery.
Potato ricer. You can freeze it and then put Jell-O through it, and it makes the Jell-O shine.
