- Country living homes epitomize charm and tranquility, each telling a tale of rustic elegance and timeless comfort. Today we tour four spaces that embrace the style: a cottage in North Carolina defined by vintage decor, A European chateau-inspired home in Pennsylvania, a 35-acre property in Georgia, and an antique-filled colonial home in Indiana.

When I saw the title I KNEW I’d get inspiration from them! I truly enjoyed each of these homes!! I love that some people embrace older homes or traditional style!!
Every one of these homes were absolutely beautiful and stunning. These homeowners are so creative and talented . Thank them and thank you for these tours.
Buy the old home and embrace the wabi sabi. Love your home.
you have to do what you love and what feels right for you in your own home , never mind what other people think , and yes , you will have to review a few things with a young one in the house but you have a few months yet 😉
Margo'shouse is love!y. Cozy and welcoming. I don't care for some of the designers' homes
One of the best ever! Luved all of them! I got lots of inspiration from them! Wish their blogs n vlogs, etc...were stated also! The last one had their Christmas & Thanksgiving dinners featured, they said. Where I wondered? Oh, and I just joined your channel. :) Thank you...:)
Williams-Sonoma
Lovely little cottage. The baskets on the fireplace way too much, too busy. Perhaps too many hats. Less is better. Good luck with your little one.
I love the first home but I always wonder WHY they only have a curtain on one side of the window….why not both sides of her windows????????…..love her antiques…that big mirror is gorgeous
I just love your home and style. Hi from South Africa 🇿🇦
What is your Instagram name?
I just love love love your home , it is so homey and cozy looking , ggood luck with your 1st baby and ,yes, you will have to adjuugst a few things when baby starts crawling and walking but it will be fine 😊
you can preserve your eggs for the winter when your hens are not laying , check out " eggs water glassing" it is one of the methods used by our ancesters when they didn't have refriferators and of course , you can dehydrate them as well .
Interesting interpretations of decor....everyones personal style. But please stop saying "I love...." all the time !😢
Laundry room looks gtreat and very functional. Love the black shelf brackets. House is so pretty. Glad your mom is home and moving around in her apt.
I love antiques but, old dead innocent animals hanging around the house... NO
Antique paintings of the animals.... YES
Is her blue dish hutch REALLY whale Gray from BM? It looks alot different.
I have a 4 piece 1930's waterfall bedroom set for sale.
I have the same thoughts about having a mirror near the front door. Lovely home by way.
Loved all the homes. Loved Kevin and Kemp's house!!
Beautiful love the details but in design school I was taught the kitchen triangle included the fridge not the dishwasher.
Very enjoyable video, thank you for the info on the buddleia!
I love this home. English cottage is my favorite asthetic. 😊
The second home, the one in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the little built-in telephone alcove in the front hallway, if she could get an electrical outlet installed in there, it would make a neat little cell phone charging station.
Lesley and Sam, you did an excellent job renovating your house! Sam said that it felt like home when other places you lived in didn't. Well, that just proves that it was meant for you! 👍😀
Kevin and Kemp's fishpond is really nice. I love outdoor places, patios, gazebos, gardens, little special unique landscapes. All the homes were nice.
You look like Kelly Clarkson❤
never been a fan of drapes curtains that lay on the floor fighting with the vaccum
Love the Brazil, Indiana home!
cute
You have a great sense of style.
Absolutely stunning!!!!
Thanks!
Too cluttered. Nor cozy.
To each their own ,and I find it very cozy ,remember everyone has their own taste .....
That mirror sitting on the floor in the living room is a massive danger hazard 😮 needs to go before that baby pops out!?!!
She has a lot of hazards….like the bows on the lamps…. A baby will pull it off the table…..coffee table needs to be empty too
@@carolynratliff1380I raised two children and I never put anything up out of reach. I was raised in a home with primitive antiques and my Mom raised 4 kids and she never put anything up. I taught them that they were pretty no no’s. I never had anything get broken either.
There are wall anchors for mirrors these days
@marysharvey Same, my Mother did the same. I was raised in Homes FULL of glass and Capodimonte pieces that could have easily been broken.
Yet, we were all taught how to respect our surroundings. It can be done! Baby-proofing a Home essentially eliminates that opportunity to teach children to amend their behavior respectfully to their space rather than constantly accommodating them at all times. The real world will not bend over backwards accommodating them. 🖤
@@AvecPoesieWell said. Gee… the concept of “no.”
Just tired of rustic
Tired of rustic, cluttered country. Some careful editing would make house no. 1 quite lovely.
That’s funny I’m tired of the white texture minimal. I change my decor frequently. I’m even tired of a tan and cane, and I may have to give up some of my BoHo including baskets.
