almost a year exactly after the meme upload, i present to you ... dilemma! for real this time.
after all the heartbreak and the everything that happened last year im glad i can finally get it out in lyrics and move on for good. maybe it can be catharsis for you in the same way it was for me. deco*27 and breakups are a good combo that way. maybe i can talk about it and laugh one day, but for now it's time to work on myself while i conquer the new big thing in my life!
... it's a funny thing, making covers. even though they're technically someone else's work, i end up putting so much of myself into it that i end up getting really attached to it as if it were my own. the work itself will never be truly mine, but no one can really take away the meaning and memories we attach to it. or something like that. it's as much mine as it is yours now that you've listened to it.

Was especially interested in seeing how you'd tackle the translyrics for this one, you absolutely KILLED IT oh my god everything about this was so amazing. I went in with high expectations but I can safely say this was way beyond anything I imagined in my head after you announced this publicly on twitter. Absolutely perfect mixing as well, and the amount of effort that went into the mv is just stunning. I went in expecting a cover of the song but I didn't expect all the energy of it to be captured so perfectly. Such an amazing cover, it made me remember some feelings I thought I moved on from, but I guess they’re still trapped inside. I’m loving looking through the songs you’ve done, they’re all really good, this one is my favorite for now.
Personally the "could you text me how I can forget you so I can be free" line hurts much more.
The dog I grew up with passed away earlier today after 11 years, losing the pet I've had since I was 8 and grew up with has been the most painful thing I've gone though in a while. Listening to this song made me smile for the first time in today and helped me take my mind off it even if it was for only a few minutes.

Omg, I found you from the Idol cover in English but I’m literally shocked, you’re so talented. I’m Japanese, and You literally caught every single meaning from the original Japanese lyric and turned into English without a single difference of interpretation(meaning, feeling of the original kind). For example I was especially impressed with the translation of the girl’s immature mental way of saying things, like having a hard time controlling her emotions against the person she loves. I can’t believe you did this even though Japanese and English is a different language and how the way of the grammar is totally different. I can say completely that this is a perfect translation from the original, I became your fan😢 Forgive me to subscribe, Thank you!
I've been consistently impressed with how well Rachie's translyrics don't just translate a song, but properly "localize" it. Between maintaining the original japanese syllable count, avoiding the rhythms causing awkward syllable emphasis for english, maintaining english lyric rhyming traditions??? all without compromising on the meaning/intent of the original lyrics? it's incredible.
my favorite so far is easily Android Girl. the power in her voice really sells the climax. and she manages to avoid any awkwardness between the way Miku breaks up the word "android" into like 4 syllables while english typically says it in 2.

I knew I wasn't ready, but holy hell. This was fully worth the wait. I wanted to hear a rock version of this song, and KiAme delivered it perfectly. The rhythm and flow of the lyrics is on point, and I will definitely use them in future. However, there are not many voices that handle DECO*27's music so well. It's dynamic, emotional, with the power and range to handle all the lows and highs. The pretty artwork is just a cherry on top. Incredible work.
