LYRICS by Lollia Rolling girl remaining in her dreams She only wants to stay, it seems. All the noise slicing layers in her head Has her screaming away, Has her screaming away "No problem" she tells herself today But what she says repeats in the gray Fail again, failing again Fussing over mistakes she thinks would remain But then she starts all over again... Just once more, Just once more "I will roll again today I know for sure" Oh, that girl said what she said Playing every word and playing to pretend "Are you better now?" "No, I don't know how" What's the point of living if pain's never ending? Please, just let me stop my breath Right now. Rolling girl is taunted by her gaze, she's can't recall the hue she erased. Voices scream, blending all around her head Blending over again Blending over again "No problem" she breathes another lie The pain and guilt she feels amplifies "You'll be fine" is what they all say Even when they see me on my way towards my fate They'd watch me roll again Just once more, Just once more, "Rolling down a hill just like I did before" Oh, that girl said, what she said Repeating every word and hiding every meaning "Are you better now?" "No, I don't know how" Maybe one day you'll see how well I'm improving Please, just let me stop my breath Not now... Just once more, Just once more "I will roll again today I know for sure" Oh, that girl said, what she said. Playing every word and playing to pretend "Just once more? No, no more" Take my hand and come with me Tell me your story Please, just let me hold your breath for now.
This song hits me extremely hard and deep, deeply cutting in since this is what I felt and slip back into for so long. I- depression is so hard to deal with, hard to even express without just falling apart and crying your heart out. From each little thing you do wrong, it just felt bigger. I sing this to myself and cry each time from how much it fits my life. I love these songs that expresses and explains how depression is.
I love how you changed the last line to "Tell me your story." In the original i viewed the male as the girls demons, and in the end "Just hold your breath for now." Sounded like the girl was gonna commit suicide, that her demons won. But in this, it makes me feel like someone actually cares about the girl, and wants to hear her story rather than kill herself. Well done, Lollia.
@@saiv46 not always the case, humans are very different and professional help is not a solution for everyone I know some people who don't really consider it as such because it feels "dead" to them, like the thought "They're a stranger, It's just their job. Worlds End Dancehall is probably my favorite Vocaloid song next to invisible. It's such a great song, when I go to my local Arcade I always play those two if I can.
Man all of Wowaka’s songs are hard to sing, including his other Vocaloid songs and the songs he wrote and sung for Hitorie. I remember Shinoda(Hitorie’s current vocalist who took over once wowaka passed) talked about how he was amazed that wowaka was able to sing his songs.

I've listened to the original many times now and I've always been smacked with this visceral feeling of overwhelming depth when the chorus hits and I end up crying, but because it was in japanese I didn't know why I got such an intense feeling. I obviously understood the general meanings in the song and chalked my reaction up to it just being a very very good track cuz.. well, its wokwaka and this is a famous song for a reason. But then today I listened to this cover, finally learning what the lyrics meant and when it started I was only impressed by the general vibe, the music and of course the vocals. But when the chorus hit, I balled my goddamn eyes out. It was one of the weirdest things to experience but for some reason this song literally drags a deep feeling out of me and it made me sit in my chair just crying because of how overwhelming this foreign emotion is. I don't understand it but it's frankly incredible. Amazing amazing cover, Lollia, of an incredible song. You've paid it the highest of tributes.
Well, I think this English version song took their interpretation of the original song as Hatsune Miku succumbing to her own negative thoughts and doubts, but was saved and hugged by a mysterious figure near the end. And most people took it as that from the original. But, people had other different interpretations too. Other people believed that the mysterious figure was the personification of her own depression. And she was trying to get rid of her depression while trying to keep rolling (living). In the original song, near the end of it. The mysterious figure says "Is it enough yet?" She says "A little more." This can be taken as her depression asking her if she's tired of trying to live through this pain to reach the other side. But she says she wants to continue through. She also says "Pretty soon something will probably be visible." meaning that she thinks that she might see the other side soon, filled with color. Hopefully.. Then the mysterious figure says "I will stop your breath... Now." Then her depression hugs and comforts her for the last time.. She was so broken that her own depression was the only comfort for her in the end.. He says again "Is it enough yet?". She says "It's fine." He says "You will probably be tired soon, right?" Then the last line of the song says "I will end your breath... Now." As she starts closing her eyes. Implying that she stopped rolling.. That's the end. I was saying all of this so I could give out a different perspective of the song. Ending of the song an be taken as hopeful or dreadful.
Honestly i was a little concerned about this song being more “metal” but honestly you executed this song BEAUTIFULLY!! You ending the song on a positive note really caught me off guard! I was in the mall while listening to this and ended up crying. This song is a comfort song and I can relate to the lyrics so hearing your AMAZING vocals, absolutely slay this song.. it makes me feel so happy!
I actually like the key of this version, and the vocals are executed beautifully. The lyrics add impact. I really love the instrumentals! I usually hate English versions, but I honestly love this one and all the effort that was put into this!
I love this version. It's absolutely my favorite but this song in general, as beautiful and as much of a masterpiece it is, I find depressing. I relate to this song in a deeply emotional level after losing an extremely close friend.
That's cause the original *is* much darker. Rolling refers to self harm, and she ended up killing herself in the end. This version brings a much more hopeful perspective on that kind of situation honestly, its nice
“You’ll be fine” is what they all say, even when they see me on my way towards my fate Hits so hard for me because at one point in time I felt that’s exactly how everyone felt about me.
man I can't get enough of how the girls eyes glisten when they finally get pulled into that hug ( in both versions ). I'm going through depression and high social anxiety and feeling like I want to end it all right here and now, but this scene always makes me feel so hopeful that maybe one day I will get the same comforting hug from someone who cares. :((
God, I love the line "Please just let me hold your breath for now." Like, please just let me carry you while you can't carry yourself. When you're ready to stand, you will, but until then I will help carry you through it. I will hold your breath for you until you're ready to breathe again. Because you will breathe again.
I was so sad when your original cover was taken down since this has to be one of my favorite vocaloid songs of all time but this is SO amazing and worth the wait! "One more day" ("Just once more") has been my motto for years when it comes to battling my depression. "One more day" makes weeks, months, and years, and that's how I'm still here.
Fun fact, this cover helped crack my egg. I was in a pretty huge slump for most of my 20's and this (along with other contributing factors) helped me realize who I a truly am. I'm starting my 30's with bright eyes and living as a woman. So thank you Lollia and Richaad! As well to the original creator, Wowaka, who unforutnately is no longer with us. This song has always had such a powerful hold on anyone who grew up getting addicted to Vocaloid. Just like "Love is War", "Purple Butterfly On Your Shoulder", and the like- it was a piece of what would eventually become an almost new wave of J-Pop, and in the same breath, also define the kind of sadness people around the world- not just the Japanese- started to feel build up inside of them. And Wowaka probably didn't get to know just how deeply they reached into the heart of so many people- teenagers or kids- when they discovered it. Probably even some adults. "Just once more", "No, no more" is such a strong message, and I've listened to this cover you guys have done so many times without appreciating it the same way I have done today. So, from one depressed person to the void of TH-cam comments (and of course to the talented Lollia and Richaad, who I always look forward to new content from) Somewhere out there is someone who wants to hear your story, even if it will never reach the masses. I feel like this song is very close to Lollia's heart. We know she has struggled with mental problems, and I think this song helped her like it helped many others. I feel the change at the end of switching it from implying suicide to implying someone was there at the end to help was a personal edit from Lollia to imitate how things went for her. This cover is so beautiful, and even months later I still get so emotional listening to it and singing with it. Congrats Lollia, you breathed new life into a classic vocaloid masterpiece we all know and love. Well done once again.
Thank you so much for this. Without going into detail, Wowaka’s songs got me through my darkest of times. This cover is beautiful and the animation brought tears to my eyes. Thank you and a huge thank you to Wowaka as well.
This is a cover that actually left me speechless… good on you. I hope that you can continue to make good covers and/or music with this much good quality.
Even though this hasn't been out too long, i just wanted to reach out to the creator. I listened to this a few months after it cam e out, and boy did i love this song. I would listen to it along with a few other songs when my mom was trying to make me do online school.
Thank you so much for changing the ending. This song is amazing, but the original ending hits me in a way that makes it very difficult for me to enjoy properly. Changing it the way you did makes it so much more manageable, and I am so grateful for it
I adore this song. I was playing it on loop earlier this week even. Timeless classic. I'm so happy to see this in my feed, amazing arrangement both of you!

This cover is amazing. Thank you so much. It's the cover I have always dreamed of for this song. Within 30 seconds, it had me crying. This song means a lot to me, as I know it does many others, and the little note to Wowoka at the end really tore at my heart. Thank you. ❤️
Yeah, im obsessed. I've listened to it on loop several times in the last week. It makes me cry every time. Love it. Thank you Lollia, for this beautiful rendition. It speaks volumes to the soul. ✨️ Not to mention the top tier animation and accompaniment! Truly a work of art like the original.
Back at it again! I love your covers. I really liked the more positive take on the ending of the song, as I'm used to the more tragic interpretation, and it made me happy.
Wowaka, will be proud. I really do like the "Tell me your story" it feels comforting. Feels like I am also being encouraged to tell my story as well. Nice cover!
I'm not crying, this is just the wind in my bedroom 😭 Amazing work of you both ! Your voice tells so much emotions, especially the slowed down refrain, congrats Lollia & Richaad !

"What's the point of living if pain's never ending?"
That line hits me differently every time
thank you for inviting me to be a part of this project! :D
True that
Hey, with all due respect- you don't know her.
Yes!! So hyped!! You go girl!
I feel like it's almost true that people with depression run away from those who want to help them, and then you just keep rolling through life.
I've listened to this so many times! I love how it ends with someone helping the character as well instead of them.. unaliving themself
2:30 make me feel something
Thank you so much for this. Without going into detail, Wowaka’s songs got me through my darkest of times. This cover is beautiful and the animation brought tears to my eyes. Thank you and a huge thank you to Wowaka as well.
This is super impressive! The music video is super pretty and your voice works so well with this song! Wowaka shall never be forgotten
RIP Wowaka 😭😭😭
This video is beautiful. The animation at the end was tear-jerking for sure.
This is still an earworm for me haha! The final mix came out great!!!
I love the rolling keys in the beginning. I don't know if that's the correct way to describe them, but it goes with the song name.
This is a cover that actually left me speechless… good on you. I hope that you can continue to make good covers and/or music with this much good quality.
i used to listen to this song 24/7 when i was really young, listening to your cover again almost brought me to tears 😞😞
Changing it the way you did makes it so much more manageable, and I am so grateful for it
I’ve been crying at this song for 30 minutes now idk why
This take on the song is crazy and the animation my goodness the animation!!! To replicate it so closely to the original is crazy
This just makes me wanna cry... I love this song for years 😭
I can't believe I missed the premier! This kicks all the ass!
I adore this song. I was playing it on loop earlier this week even. Timeless classic.
I'm so happy to see this in my feed, amazing arrangement both of you!
I've been listening to you for years! How have I just now found this cover?!
this is such an emotional trip.... how can a piano motif make me feel transported back in time?
The last line of text where you added wowakas birth and death years got me bawling/srs :(💙
Yaaay this song is back!! Or at least a different version! I missed it a lot
Oh my god I check every once in a while in case I missed your version and it’s here!! Both versions you’ve done are beautiful and I’m so glad it’s back!
Your lyric changes during the end of the song really made me bawl my eyes out, this song was always really depressing. Really appreciate your edit to make a happy ending. Rest in Peace Wowaka.
This is wonderful! I'd also love to see your version of World's End Dancehall. That one is probably my favorite Vocaloid song.
It was truly made by a genius. RIP Wowaka
Bro I haven’t heard this song in a hot minute. Incredible job.
Finally the rolling cover I have waiting for you to do for years! LETS GO!
I'm not crying you're crying... this song is just beautiful and that piano at the beginning really sets the mood.
Always has been a favorite of mine, was a gateway song that showed me that music can communicate more than just happiness along with the Lost One's Weeping. Very good job!
I knew a man that looks like him. He was the only one supporting me when i had panick attack or when i was failing in piano. I wished i acted different with him.
Here i was thinking no cover of this song could make me sob the way the japanese version does, but i've been proven wrong
Oh mah gosh Lollia, this is just- I can't even use words, this is absolutely AMAZING!! I would totally recommend it to all my friends, I would love to see you do more Vocaloid songs!!
This cover is amazing. Thank you so much. It's the cover I have always dreamed of for this song. Within 30 seconds, it had me crying. This song means a lot to me, as I know it does many others, and the little note to Wowoka at the end really tore at my heart. Thank you. ❤️
This is fucking brilliant. You have such a beautiful voice! Well done, this is definitely my comfort song.
Yeah, im obsessed. I've listened to it on loop several times in the last week. It makes me cry every time.
Love it. Thank you Lollia, for this beautiful rendition. It speaks volumes to the soul. ✨️
Not to mention the top tier animation and accompaniment!
Truly a work of art like the original.
Back at it again! I love your covers. I really liked the more positive take on the ending of the song, as I'm used to the more tragic interpretation, and it made me happy.
idc how old this song is its just fun to listen to it...
the song came out in 2011 :)
I listen this song every day and im cry
Wowaka, will be proud. I really do like the "Tell me your story" it feels comforting. Feels like I am also being encouraged to tell my story as well. Nice cover!
RIP wowaka. He really was the GOAT of vocaloid producers
Dang! I loved it! Y'all did so good!
Og version : hopelessness
