They are without a doubt Yellow Bellied Sliders. I have 2 Yellow Bellies and 3 Red Ears and another albino Red Eared. They are all babies and my absolute favorite things to have as pets. I don't suggest taking them immediately when they hatch but once they are a few days old they have already walked, eaten and swam most likely so they are pretty much used to what is around them. Still catching them are hard and not as easy as it seems but It's one of my favorite things to do in the spring.
Edit: the mortality rate of hatchlings in the wild is 90% so by taking them its saving their lives.

@BlueSunset No, It is absolutely necessary that they have water, they can grow up to 14 inches say they need a tank that is at least 75 gallons. Most will tell you that they need a 10 gallons per inch of shell but that is not true, they need lots of room but not that much. They do need a basking area though that is at least three times the size of their shell. When they're babies they need a small tank (10 or 20 gal) but when their big enough (over half the size of their palm) they can go into a 55 and then when they get too big get a 75 or up. With the right diet and lighting they can surpass the age of 30. Box turtles live on land but they need to be soaked once a day. I have a box turtle that has water in his tank that I clean daily. I now have 14 turtles (4 res, 1 albino res, 3 ybs, 1 res ybs hybrid, 2 hi white mexican giant musk turtles, 1 eastern box turtle, 1 common snapper, 1 Kwangtung river) and they are my pride and joys. With the correct lighting, filter, basking, space, heat, they can live happy and long lives. So the easiest answer to your question is no. 😊

Turtles, tortoises, and really reptiles in general, are actually HIGH MAINTENANCE animals.
People don't realize that because reptiles are cold-blooded and have very different physiology (how their bodies work), they need very careful, balanced care to survive and be healthy.
1.) Cool and hot areas in a large enclosure. (Their bodies don't regulate temp like ours, so too hot or too cold can kill them and they need varying temp areas to achieve the correct temp.)
2.) Special lighting which includes UVB light (not just light you can see) and the bulb needs to be changed every 6 months.
3.) Very particular diets very specific to their type. (It is VERY different from type to type--some need high protein and some CAN'T have that.)
4.) Humidity levels in cage - too much, they can get infections. Too little, their shells "pyramid" (deform in ways that can hurt or kill them).
5.) BALANCED Calcium and Vitamin supplements (not too much, not too little)--not doing this can lead to MPD, which is very painful (think destroyed bones) and fatal if not prevented/treated.
Please, leave animals alone (why terrorize them???) and put them back where you found them!

I agree but I cant help but raise turtles. Its hard to mess up raising a turtle if you hit all the basic necessities. Turtles NEED UVB lighting to produce their beautiful shells along with a heating bulb or rock. A turtles diet consists of a base pellet (I recommend zoo med aquatic turtle food 0-3inch turtles) turtles require vegetables when they're older like green and red romaine. Some veggies turtles cant have such as spinach. Baby turts can have a little more protein but don't over do it or you'll cause the turtle to pyramid (some people think it looks cool but is a very serious health problem so don't do it). you should also have 10 gallons of tank space for every inch your turtle is, think long term and buy a bigger tank outright. this is just a rule of thumb adjust as necessary (like my mama turtle which tend to be a little larger)
Its also important to know the difference between aquatic turtles and land walking tortoises as their habitats are very different. The type of turtle in the video are yellow belly sliders, native to Florida, north and south Carolina. And finally, don't forget about Calcium which is required to build their shell. Turtles absorb UVB through their skin so that their bodies can process the calcium to build strong shells and bones without it the turtle will live in pain and will be very sluggish. Not meeting this requirement will leave the turtle with permanent health issues. The easiest way to feed your turtle calcium is 1) feeding a base pellet with good calcium and 2) buying Cuttlebone from the bird section, then cutting into small chunks so the turtle can bite into and sharpen their beaks.

Most of them were Yellow Belly Sliders, but The last turtle you showed at the end was a Red Eared Slider. It had the red on the side of the head behind the ear. 11:40 Yellow belly's and Red Ears can use the same nesting area, so its possible that you got a Red Eared that had come out of another nest close to the one the others were coming out of.
They aren't Painted Turtles. Their hatchlings have a Orange/Red belly and markings on the head.

This is insane! People watch these videos and think "Omg these cute baby turtles! I'm going to get one and put them in a 5 gallon tank with a little rock and it will be all good :)" When this is NOT how you take care of a turtle! You are most likely squishing them -_- not even knowing it... I don't know where you live but where I live it's ILLEGAL to take turtles from there environment! The poor turtles now are in a awful care takers hands and mostly likely already died :/ and that's all on you.... I would feel ashamed tbh... Sorry to sound rude but it's true...

Very true. It was so sad these turtles just got to hatch and they won’t even be able to live a happy life or experience the environment they are meant to be in. Couldn’t even explore where their mom layed them. I find this incredibly sad .
