on my mack it’s got a standard 15 in it. you can’t use all of them in that one you can go 1-2-3-4 and then it’ll find neutral so you have to take it out of deep reduction and find a gear 😂 i usually put it in 1st deep reduction and flip it out of deep reduction and drive it like a 10
@@cesar9496 it can be but probably not really heavy unless you're on flat ground because you don't get the half gear splits like you do with an 18 speed. Personally I'd rather have an 18 for heavy haul but you can make what you have work. This transmission is more common in dump trucks and rock haulers. Which is what I use it for, I pull belly dump
@@coltenblackburn84 ohh ok I got you. I got a 10 speed KW hauling gravel and sand in an aluminum. Just bought this beautiful kw t600 daycab with a 15 speed. Couldn’t pass up the deal, it has 4.10s with a cm870 and the 15 speed. Don’t know much about these transmissions but was thinking to use it to move equipment locally pulling an RGN. Here in Houston we have no hills or anything so it might work out. Thanks for the feedback and video sir!
Everything is good on the video but you explain the shifting to fast 😅 it helped a lot though 👍🏻
Best video i found so far, thank you
No problem
You can use them all, they're just redundant.

Is this transmission good for heavy haul? Thanks for the video.

@@cesar9496 if you're just doing it locally I'd say go for it. Where you're at you shouldn't have any problems
@@coltenblackburn84 10-4, just as I was thinking. Hey thanks again, take care.
@@coltenblackburn84so I got some twin screw rears with 3.36 rears would this be more ideal for sand and gravel or an 18 be better
Basically its a 10LL
@@mattberg916 basically yes. But Eaton calls it a 15 speed because my there's 15 speeds available.
Just too fast are you shifting
