+Lionel Joseph sir,you are wrong at the first place itself, he speaks about ENVISION at 1.00 ,you have given wrong information,....stop giving us wrong information,....so,chill out "OLD ONE"
One of mentors stated "I credit my success to surrounding myself with the best people". This is a great message for business leaders, community leaders and leaders in the home.
1. Envision: what should tomorrow looks like to my team? If there is no vision, there is no leadership. If there is no vision, people will verish. 2. Enlist: list yours and others dreams to build the vision together 3. Embodying : how they treat people? What we say and how we behaving. Demonstrate and potray what we are really believeing. 4. Empowering: we give people the authority to make decision and we give them trust. Allow them to succeed. Equip the team consistently. 5. Evaluate: evaluate the people with us (the contribution, the needs, the ethics) 6. Encourage: always motivating, inspiring, uplifting people. Continually. Collaborators not followers.
great summary and i loved this. Not just what you wrote but the whole point of the video. Especially enlist. Collaborating with other people to make a change and build a dream together. I really believe that #TogetherWeRyze it's the best way for our goals to become reality. ~Cynthia
I agree. I think it takes true leadership to do what is "needed" to shift a culture. And many times it may not be the easiest route. Being a leader is bring out the best of people to deliver the best results.
Love this! How as a leader can I deliver a message where the message I receive is not from a trusted messenger. I’m essentially trying to make the team drink the toxic ‘Koolaid’… this is the challenge I face in trying to embrace and move the team for greater connection and success.. cheers
This video is my "Leadership Bible". I have been watching this video over and over again for the past few years. Every single time it renews my motivation.
Im a 14 year old girl and I think this is the best advice I've ever heard:) I want to try to apply this to how I live and work to aim towards a goal. My goal is to help people in need. EVERYONE tell me I'm too young to do that, that I should just focus on school and sports and stuff. But, I think that no one is too young to help others and now I'm going to start aiming towards my goal:)
this video gave me the motivation to reach my dream, many people put me down but i always got up, i looked at the bright side. people called me a looser, a follower, but i always got u and came to school everyday with a smile. now what does that make me? after this video i realized, I'm a leader. no one would ever put me down, I'll always stand up and I'll never fall. this is my life, and it'll always be mine, no one can stop me not even my parents. I wont do what i can, ill do what i need.
The best advice I ever got from Brendon Burchard at one of his live events was just get started! Even if when we start we are terrible at it just do it and get better as we are moving forward. Took his advice when starting my own TH-cam channel. The first 30 videos I am so embarrassed by but it's finally to a level I am feeling confident with and getting better every week by learning from others and the skills along the way. Thank you Brendon for the inspiration.
Was ready to click the skip add button, but somewhere in those 5 seconds you caught me to listen for a few more seconds, witch lead me to watching the whole video. Thanks for adding value to my life Brendon.
"people support what they create" - very true Envision, Enlist, Embody, Empower, Evaluate, Encourage - six "E"s of leadership (with a little bit of enlightenment and encouragement thrown in there too :-)
WOW Brendon, you have provided us the best information on Leadership. I specially liked your idea of Collaborators instead of Followers. You are the Lion who can create more lions. This was a truly empowering presentation. A million thanks for sharing and lifting up people Brendon.
It is interesting how so many qualities of leadership run into conflict with need. Many managers get so focused on trying to "motivate" their staff they end up missing what would have them demoralized in the first place. A poor environment, personal stress, a lack of direction. A manager can take huge steps to being more "motivational" just by being more empathetic.
I agree, to “empower” those you lead with authority to make decisions based on values or culture that is part of the company. I love it..a belief so strong that you still stay...a “legend”
THANK YOU for such high optimism and enthusiasm❣️ Sometimes I have to wonder why people want to put out my light. I’m a FIRE 🔥 sign (♐️) and I believe EVERY day holds potential for greatness 😊
Very true and very refreshing I wish more businesses employed these teachings to their management. I've seen so many disgraceful managers in my years. As corny as it sounds like he said love is the most important thing a leader can have. I've seen so many narcissistic leaders that have such contempt for the people under them. Pride goes before a fall.
Many people simply assume that rising in ranks is the same as being a "leader". A leader will take on a senior role in an organization (sooner or later) but not all senior personnel are leaders! It is important to comprehensively understand the ‘mechanics’ of being a leader. Good talk. Food for thought for sure…
This is fantastic. This is exactly how I want to lead! Very inspiring! Reminds me exactly of our executive director for a non-profit where I sit on the board. 100%
This is a great video. It touches on a simple mistake I see many leaders make and it distinguished between being an actual leader as opposed to a manager or boss. Instead of truly employing the input of their team, THEY offer decisions to their them and the team, who is made up of people that know their business, doesn’t agree with the direction the “leader” is presenting. Part of a leaders job is to make their team feel like they’re part of the direction they’re going. This won’t happen if the leader doesn’t engage their team to be part of the solution, but the team needs to be able to have a say in the direction they’re all being asked to go in.
Thanks Brendon!!! This really is a big help for me now that I am the newly elected SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT PRESIDENT of our school! Thank you for this lesson! I'll treasure this advice and apply this to myself as a leader,... I'm inspired and motivated! I'm ready to lead the biggest organization in our school!
Brilliant! I have watched this twice and will surely watch it several more times. There is a lot of great wisdom in this brief video. Thank you for posting.
A continual Basis - envision and purpose - enlistment - Integrity - empower - embody and evaluate - encourage and desire to move your team forward. Be the light in the room to engage. This is powerful to wake up to in the morning. Go do it now and keep at it! Knock me down you can try I will get up every time.
Visions and influences make leaders great, and these qualities may involved others in your leadership styles. People follow a leader because of his ability to lead them.He should also inspire and motivate his followers to achieve their goals.
A leader must always introspect and inspire. Introspect yourself and see what are your strengths and weaknesses; then inspire your team to do better than what they are already doing!
Went for a retail assistant role and was offered team leader position after not going for that :) ecstatic really they must have saw something in me , I’ve always found it hard to believe in myself but I’m getting a stronger mentality all the time. I’m going to relish it
A manager’s role isn’t just about managing people -it’s also about understanding the business. Not gaining acumen about the business is a mistake that can hinder your ability to make informed decisions and lead your team effectively. Actionable Tip: Take the time to learn about the company’s strategy, goals, and how your team’s work contributes to the bigger picture. Imagine leading a ship without understanding navigation. Business acumen is your map, guiding you and your team toward the company’s goals.
Excellent, informative video Brendon. Great framework. In my view, there's an important seventh "E" - "Empathize." Leaders must create the conditions within the work environment where the workforce feels valued, understood and taken care of. By practicing empathy, leaders seek to understand their people. They demonstrate concern about the individual, not just his or her output (in large organizations the empathic leader focuses on the leaders immediately around him or her, and that permeates the rest of the org.). Empathy considers we don't always have to be right, be in charge, or be the one that succeeds. The staff feels safe to admit to mistakes. In turn, that fosters empowerment and growth. Practicing empathy has worked well for me and I've found it to be an indispensable tool in motivating my people to want to be their best.
The moment I heard this video. I only have one thing in mind to press the subscribe button and listen and learn things about you through your videos. I was energized!!!
Brendon, as a leader, your video hits the targets on-point. It is clearly what great leaders do or what they should do to be great leaders. I truly look forward to viewing all your new videos especially in the morning. They provide me inspiration every day and its an awesome way to start my day. Thank you.

Have you heard of the book 7 Traits of Highly Effective People? It is kind of like this, and also has some interesting points. I'm not sure where you can find it, but if you want to learn more, I know that there are videos on TH-cam about the habits. And there are books by the same author for every age, right down to toddlers. I felt like I should mention that.

thanks very much mr. brendon this one was really gives me a drive of becoming a great leader someday.
Thank you , must you have a miracle character to be a leader or just have clear vision with practicing every single day??
When you miracle character, what do you mean? By no means must you be perfect. Great leaders have a vision and the ability to connect wit a team, or at the very least be able to bring on representatives that can connect with their team.
I am in the midst of applying this model. Energized and leading with intent. Thank you!
Love that look on Uncle Brendon's face at the end! The look of "You see what I did there?"
I just love the energy that flows when you talk... Awesome One
Man, this video really has me pumped. Such a good message.

I have been watching these videos, I think that if they were longer many more people would watch them.
I love your bold enthusiasm, your frameworks and alliteration to make the concepts memorable. And your confidence and how you end ... on a crescendo!
Brendon: maybe the alltime best video!
Love the energy and the content Brendon!
I’ve listened to this video multiple times , the message is clear and inspiring!! Thank you

I'm not sure where you can find it, but if you want to learn more, I know that there are videos on TH-cam about the habits. And there are books by the same author for every age, right down to toddlers. I felt like I should mention that.
