    I like the way you painted the front inner fender wells to look like the original galvanized. Most every restoration I see they always paint them black.

    Dang, that motor is tight! What kind of cam did you have in there? I'm guessing that's a 460 as well?

    • @greggarvin5345
      @greggarvin5345  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    True Highboy's should have divorced transfer cases

  • @jrd2475

    where did you get the steering column I've looked for one with column shift and cannot find them

  • @lexiedetienne840

    my boy friend is working on his 1975 f-250 and is having wiring problems. The starter wont disengage, and moving the shifter engages it. What do you think he should do?

    • @nicholasmarino17
      @nicholasmarino17 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lexie DeTienne did he look into replacing the starter solenoid. Quick fix if that is indeed the problem. Normally $20 at any local parts store. For future reference LMC truck had great detailed catalogs full of parts for your truck,

    Why the married transfer case? 73-77 were divorced from the factory.

    • @greggarvin5345
      @greggarvin5345  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      1 less driveline and better transfer of power the truck had a 4speed and a np203.. I like the C6 and Np205 much better

    • @mattrobertson8265
      @mattrobertson8265 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      less parts the better

  • @gregg6448
    @gregg6448 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    No it did not I put nostalgic air in it which was a lot better than Vintage Air because you could use original controls and vents

    • @psyborg1217
      @psyborg1217 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Greg G, I am thinking about putting the same in my 77 - any advice on cutting into the dash for the vents? thats the only part that has me nervous.

    • @greggarvin5345
      @greggarvin5345  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the vents they send with the kit are not the same size as the original ones so if you have to replace one your kind of SOL. I went with a set from Lmc.

    Did the truck come with ac from factory?

    • @billymaze1728
      @billymaze1728 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you had vents on the floor boards that you would open or roll down the winders

    • @greggarvin5345
      @greggarvin5345  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I looked all around for a new Ac kits and found that Nostalgic AC was the way to gonostalgicac.com/complete-ac-kits/ford-complete-kits/ford-ac-kits-for-trucks/1973-1979-f-series-truck-heat-a-c-defrost.html

    Overall it's an awesome truck but I can't help but think that the transmission and transfer case need a divorce.

  • @austinlushbaugh5511
    @austinlushbaugh5511 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sorry but that truck doesn’t deserve the highboy name... doesn’t have a divorced T-Case from the looks of it 🤷‍♀️
