@@americaninthailand8760 I am not sure. I need to make an appointment with my financial person. I still like parts of the job. working with our team members, and it gives me something to do. Maybe I will do something parttime for awhile and then retire.

Very nice! I really love what you have done with that back yard ...My idea of lower maintenance yet interesting yard!. I was wondering in the end of the video with the google map overhead shot....What is all the greenery back from your property & some across the street? Rubber Trees? Just curious...Thanks & Congratulations it looks like a happy life you have there with your wife

Yes, mostly rubber trees all around us. Rock landscaping is vital here, unless you want to work your ass off all day. Thanks for the nice comments.

The tree- you can buy it from them and then cut it down, that’s what I did.
The stamped concrete will need rubber expansion joints which you don’t have at the min, also add grip sand to the finish or you will be on your ass in no time.

Yes on the tree issue. I was not going to reveal it on that video. But he already has mentioned 4,000 baht. I was shocked it was so low.

    Nice job Greg.
Jet wash is what you need. A nice stress relieving day every 6 months. 2500 baht instead of 250,000.

Greg, Garden looks great and is filling in nicely. Looks to me that your original concrete pour did not include appropriate expansion joints, which likely helped 5:07 the cracking, although concrete does indeed crack. You could patch the concrete and power wash it to get rid of the black mold. That’s a good cheap option. Stamped concrete is also a good option. We had it done on our driveway in Redondo Beach (with proper expansions joints) and after 13 years no cracks. The one item to consider is that the paint and finish coat they put on top of the stamped concrete will wear away over time. So requires some resealing repainting, which is an added expense. Would love to see the stamped concrete when you are done. I’m sure it will look great! Good luck and on 3 yrs in Thailand. I’m 3 months the into my retirement in Chiang Mai. So far so good!

Thanks Mark. You are correct, no expansion joints done at all. I have noticed living here that if you don`t ask for specific things, they will never mention them to you. I plan on using a bleach solution and getting a power washer later to attack the mold. Spending up to 15,000 USD for the stamped concrete will kill many vacation plans.

Must have been that magic puff I had here in this time in Nakhon Sawan (The Heavenly City) about an hour ago that sparked my psychic abilities thinking about you and your channel. I just checked and you magically appear.
If you have too much rain please send it my way as before everywhere I travel to the rain stops.
