‘Classified Goons’ YouTube Prankster Shot in the Stomach

- Tanner Cook is a TH-camr whose channel, “Classified Goons,” features the 21-year-old pranking and surprising unsuspecting strangers. But Cook’s most recent prank may have gone too far. The target of his stunt became so enraged, he allegedly pulled out a semiautomatic pistol and shot Cook in the stomach. It happened at the Dulles Town Center in Sterling, Virginia. Cook’s father spoke to Inside Edition’s Steven Fabian.
“He likes to go to malls and shopping centers and harass and embarrass innocent people for his pleasure and financial gain.”

His father enables him. His son gets paid and doesn't have a real job. What he does is not a job. But he should be careful, he might not be so lucky next time. I'm surprised no one has sued him. My sympathies lie with the other guy.

I remember growing up, my dad would tell me and my siblings, "Don't prank people you don't know. Because it's disrespectful and you don't know what they're going through in life, you don't know their mental or emotional status and they can end up hurting you." We never forgot that.

I learned this lesson when I was 12 years old. We were throwing snowballs at cars. We threw a snowball at the wrong car. He didn't get out and yell or threatened to call our parents. This 30 something year old dude got out of his car and walked calmly up to us and punched my buddy so hard eight in the face that it knocked him out cold and a woman walking by called an ambulance. My buddy had to have surgery on his jaw and almost lost sight in his left eye. That was the day I realized you never know who is out there driving the streets having a bad day.

This only surprises I'm in the fact that it hasn't happened more often. When you go and prank ppl you don't know, you don't know how there going to react and you don't know who is gonna feel violated or upset or offended. I've seen these prank videos go from one or two youtubers doing harmless funny situations to up in ppls faces acting like there tryna fight or like they have weapons. Also physically touching ppls property or even hitting ppl with objects then acting like someone hit them too and looking around for the "third person". I've personally seen ppl jumped and beat for waaaaay less. When you mess around with ppl for jokes and youtube fame and clicks your gonna run into the wrong person and this will happen. Especially with every other day the news reporting ppl robbing someone killing someone or shooting schools and places up. The fear and feeling of needed to protect yourself from more and more horrific events seems to be at an all time high and only getting worse. I know ppl who never felt the need to but now legally carry guns to take there kids to the park or to the store or out to dinner. I feel bad for the youtuber to an extent he could have lost his life over a stupid 2 minute video for the hopes of fame and viral moments there's alot of money in the TH-cam industry and ppl retire young making millions and millions. Doing this kind of content is dangerous and hopefully he learned. Sadly this incident will probably only boost his channel and bring more in to watch his videos causing him to see an increase in views wi5ch equals money and tons have done many many things for the prospect of money and striking gold, it might just boost his motivation to keep going with this content. I hope not for the sake of his loved ones.
