Matthew, I want to tell you how happy I am to see younger generations taking interest in these incredible instruments. After military service (1970_1973), in early 1974, I found myself very lonely and finally bought an excellent collection 1956 Les Paul Standard gold top/dark back. Through the years between my brother and I, we have had every desirable Gibson and Fender guitar imaginable. I still love it all! Keep the faith. Your guitars will never talk badly of you or stab your back. They will only talk sweetly back to you and give pleasure.
Good and bad. Good you found it and got to play it, but have to say goodbye. Most will never see one in the wild. So lucky you find it play it and pass it along. Hope it’s forever home is a player. Enjoy your day young Mathew.
